Most experts agree that a mussel has a shell. Since the company ads extol the benefits of the green lipped mussel, it is in no way shellfish free. By the by, the FDA does not evaluate dietary supplements. They simply told the company to stop claiming results that the product did not provide. If you must have omega3, fish oil, there are many cheaper products that also do not provide any benefits.
