Is there still lead in the bullet? I want to reduce my exposure to lead.

The bullet is a full metal jacket with a lead core. So the lead isn't exposed.

it's just a standard reloaded bullet and casing, without gunpowder or primer cap. some have a chain link through the bottom, others have a small hole drilled through the casing near the rim and a split ring is passed through. the important thing is: no powder & no primer! It's a dead round.

Can the bullet be taken off the casing?

I'm not real sure but I don't think So, I have never taken it off of my keychain, but it does not look like it will come off
