My 4 year old was waking me up 5-7 times a night. We tried co-sleeping and she was still waking me up, asking me to put my arm around her, rub her back, or just for a hug. I bought the weighted blanket, told her it was her "hug blanket" so that I can give her hugs all night long and she doesn't need to wake up anymore to get them. Within two days, she was sleeping through the night, and has been for the last three weeks! I highly recommend this blanket for any child who is struggling to sleep!

I absolutely love the blanket. My 4 year old loves it too! The only down fall is that the ties and the loops for the cover do not match up. Almost all the ties and loops match but 2 on the longer sides do not match so the blanket falls inside the cover. Disappointed in that.

The ties to attach the weighted blanket to the cover are cumbersome and have come untied during use by our active sleeper leaving the blanket uneven. I believe buttons and loops would be much more secure, durable and easier to assemble.Otherwise the quality and function of the blanket are what we hoped for at a reasonable price.

This blanket has been an absolute godsend for my 4 year old. She was waking at night and then not being able to fall back asleep for hours. She would literally cry and tell me she didn’t know why she couldn’t sleep. It broke my heart for her! I finally ordered a weighted blanket after a friend recommended it. I didn’t understand the difference it could make. She still wakes every once in a while around midnight to go potty or for some water, BUT SHE GOES BACK TO SLEEP! Hallelujah choirs of angels. Her attitude during the day has improved as well. She’s so happy and pleasant (as one can be at 4 years old) bottom line, TRY THIS IF YOU AND YOUR CHILD NEED SLEEP.

I purchased this blanket in purple. I like that the outer cover is like a duvet and can be washed separately. My daughter who is six and is about 50 lbs. loves this blanket, sleeps with it every night, and it is never far from her side when she is home. The first night she had this blanket she say with it for 2.5 hours QUIETLY engaged in activities she enjoys that don't require constant motion, lots of noise, and constant parental attention. This was in stark contrast to her previous pattern which was constant movement with the purpose of getting sensory input from hanging upside down, jumping off of the furniture, and or crashing her toys on the floor among other creative variations.. She loves the soft texture. The weight (5 lbs.) is comforting to her and easy for her to manage on her own. I would definitely recommend this to parents of children who have sensory processing challenges. My daughter for example likes burying herself under several blankets regardless of the temperature. She also like wearing heavy boots or shoes with heavy soles in addition to carrying, pushing or pulling things that are heavy for her not to mention occasionally spinning in circles. In addition to a preference for weighty items, she also love fluffy, fleecy, furry and soft textures and this blanket delivers all of that. In short this blanket has a calming effect on her and allows her to relax.

My 4yo is a rather anxious one, and gets rather restless and emotional when bedtime rolls around. I had gotten a weighted blanket for myself, and it was practically a miracle. After shopping around, and reading reviews, I decided to go with this one. The weight is distributed evenly, and the pockets are relatively small. The material has held up well when it comes to washing, and stays where is should with the many ties connecting it to the weighted insert. This blanket has been a total game changer for us, and bedtime has never been so easy. I even ended up getting another for my oldest daughter! Would highly recommend getting one for any kiddo!

Perfect for my little person with big feelings. She’s had a difficult time being alone at night. The blanket had helped significantly only sad it traps the heat in and my daughter tends to “run hot”. Definitely reserved for winter months only. Luckily we live in New England where it’s chilly most seasons.

The product is just as described. The purple color and soft fabric was a big hit with my daughter. The cover washes well. Between the beads sewn into pockets/squares throughout the blanket and the blanket tied on to the duvet/cover in several places everything stays put! My four year old daughter loves it. Her sister tried it and immediately did not like having the weight, so as for a weighted blanket itself, depends on the person. As for the quality and features of this weighted blanket, we are very happy with this one!
