This was one of the best pan purchases we've made for our kitchen in years. - The pan is easy to use, it heats well and evenly. - The size is great for making sauces and one-pot meals for a family of 4. - The clear lid is really nice to be able to see the progress of what's cooking. - It cleans very well... never had any issues with food not coming off. - The price was great... and worth every penny - er, nickel? - works well for frying, the higher sides help prevent splatter This pot is our "go-to" for making spaghetti sauce and one-pot "hamburger helper" type meals.

I waited a few weeks before reviewing and it has been excellent. The pan feels solid and very well made, with clean finishing everywhere. Heat distribution is even and predictable, and it works great on both gas and induction. The lid seals well, the handle is comfortable and stays manageable, and cleanup is straightforward with warm water and a soft sponge. It has already become my main pan in the kitchen. Great value and an easy recommend.

While I have always been impressed with Tramontina's stainless steel cookware, this pan is designed extra wide, with easy poor lips and a helper handle, making it far more versatile than the typical saucepan!

I ordered this by mistake. It is larger than what I was looking for. It is well constructed, nice flat bottom for flat top stoves and doesn’t scrath the surface. I love that it has a glass lid. It has a wide base that fits the larger ring on the stove, but it is not as deep as a pot. Reminds me more of a deep dish fry pan. Bonus is it does have a scale on the inside measuring the 1 and 2 quart levels. I really liked it, so I decided to keep it, and then ordered the make but a smaller size
