Great addition, probably the best of the Iron Rail series.

Age of Rail South Africa comes in a compact box with no inserts. It does come with bags to store the items so things won't be too chaotic when storing. The player board is quite large 13in x 7.5in (330mm x 190mm) so make sure you have a big spot to play it. You don't need too much additional space other than players holding onto money and cards that represent stock. The game consistts of bidding and buying stock into six train companies while also building train routes for those companies. These routes create income that is shared to the shareholders. The concept is basically you gotta spend money to make money. The game continues for six rounds and the player that ends up with the most money is the winner. A fairly straightforward game that doesn't rely on any kind of luck. You need at least 3 players for a game and can play up to 6. Overall a game will take about an hour. Not the most interesting design or game concept but well designed for what it is designed to be.
