JVC HA-RX700 Excellent upgrade
Fits perfectly on my JVC HA-RX700. Great upgrade over stock. Feel very nice, are a bit thicker than stock which helps me with larger ears and wearing glasses.Seem to be made of good materials that will last longer than stock as well. Thick "Pleather" seems great and padding feels a good density.

Greatly expands the room for big ears.
I have bigger ears. So these were nice so my ears don't press against the plastic interior and screw at all now.But the wider positioning does make the clamping strength against my head feel a little loose. Extended the length on both sides to help with the angle. Don't know if it really makes it seal around my ears that much. But that's kind of hard to tell with the semi-open HA-RX900 I use.Installing them was way easier than I expected, especially compared to previous over ears I've used. Just took a little bit of pulling to tug the material over the ring. The lip has some holes around the tucked in material, I don't know why that is a thing, I just hope it doesn't compromise the material strength. The pads also make it easier to wear glasses with my HA-RX900.

Installation tip -- piece of string!
Great product at reasonable price. Comfy -- at least twice as thick as the stock pads (photo). But after a frustrating half-hour, I almost gave up trying to install these pads on my JVC HA-RX700 headphones. Then I figured how to use the holes: With a piece of string (photo), I could snug & hold the earpad's lip in the headphone's groove... tighten the string in the groove as you work your way around the earpiece. Still not an easy install, but I found it easier and more do-able with a string. Finally, after I got the earpad installed, I tightened & knotted the string in the grove. Not elegant, but ultimately secure. It just took about five minutes to install the 2nd pad (photo).Lastly, I was happy that the extra depth of the pad didn't cause a fitment issue... sits nice & comfortable on my head, even after hours of continuous use.

actual upgrade
After a couple of years, my RX700's worked as well as ever, but the plastic was flaking off the earpads to the point I was considering replacing the earphones. For less than a third the price, these earpads are actually more comfortable than the originals. Tight they are to get on, but stretchy enough fit my phones perfectly, if you're patient or find a patient person to do it for you. Recomended to extend the life of perfectly good headphones.

Fits JVC HA-RX700 just fine
An earlier reviewer stated that he couldn’t fit these on the JVC HA-RX700 headphones; they do fit. Like all earpad replacements it takes some gentle stretching/turning, but they’ll go on. These aren’t perfect by any means, but I grade on a curve because they are inexpensive.Driver size and earcup size don’t increase at a 1:1 ratio, so don’t let your 42 or 50mm drivers scare you away from these inexpensive replacement pads. The HA-RX700 have a pretty big cup, so I’d guess these pads will work for a lot of cans out there.

Replacement Earpads
These earpad replacements are good, comfortable, and able to cancel out most noise. They are, however, hard to slide onto the plastic earpieces. When they wear out, I'll buy them again, as they look almost like the originals.

These fit with some persuasion
I have a pair of HA-RX700 that I didn't ever use much due to the stock pads being uncomfortable and too shallow which made these headphones sound a bit muddy and below average. I even tried the foam ring "mod" to add some body to the stock pads but it didn't really help much at all.I stumbled upon these pads as a cheap way to get an upgrade in comfort and maybe even a sound quality upgrade. These looked really nice quality and it seemed to fit for most people after a bit of stretching and careful fitting.I just got them in the mail today and it is true they are quite a bit smaller in diameter than the stock pads in terms of the area that you can fit onto the channels. I thought it might have been impossible at first glance but after a good ten minutes of fitting them on millimeter by millimeter I finally got them on.These are very nice, plush earpads and brought these headphones back to life. The comfort is much improved and the bass has tightened up a good amount which actually helped to bring the clarity up a good amount.Well worth the $12 to bring these headphones up to speed to my more modern options. They sound great.
