The first monitor that was shipped out to me had a single, teeny, tiny dead pixel right dead center in the screen. I was devastated by this first world problem and immediately got on the amazon chat service. They were able to ship out a new monitor and I was able to keep the current one while it arrived. This was ideal since I had sold my previous monitor to help cover the costs for this one and would have been without a PC for several days. The second monitor arrived with no defects in all the original packaging, but curiously the box was labeled as "Returned: did not want" and I assume a different customer returned the item at their door. I was otherwise blown away by how nice the monitor looked. Stepping up from 1080p 144hz to 1440p 144hz was certainly nice, and switching from TN to VA panel technology meant that all the content on the monitor has an incredible contrast that wasn't there before. With just a few simple tweaks (without even using calibration software) you can get the monitor to near-IPS color levels, certainly significantly better than TN. My current settings are: 6500k color temp, 144hz, freesync on, 1ms motion blur off, 40 black stabilizer, and fast response time. Picture settings are 70 contrast, 70 sharpness and with gamma on mode 2. My other main concern was brightness. My eyes aren't sensitive to light at all and generally I turn every display I own to max brightness. 350 nits is a sweet spot for me as it's the same brightness level as my previous monitor, but this metric can be relative and they might only be advertising the peak brightness. All in all, this is a good monitor that I think is a great step between content monitor and gaming monitor that brings the best of both worlds, but not necessarily the best at both. However, for this price point, you're unlikely to beat the size and refresh rate with it's actual best, most amazing feature: it's a flat panel, not a curve! Thanks LG

I went from a 1080p 24" 60hz monitor (which I actually really liked) to this when we found out we would be doing some work from home. I don't know how it compares to other monitors on the market but for me it is amazing. Looks great, is large for a computer monitor which works great for gaming, streaming Netflix or YouTube as well as work (you can have multiple windows open simultaneously without overlapping and still be a useful size window) and doesn't break the bank. I guess I got lucky as some said it has a lot of light bleed but mine has none noticeable. It has a high refresh rate which works great for gaming with a beautiful picture. I noticed the difference right away when I switched (be sure your computer has the components to properly make use of the resolution and refresh rate). It's one of the best priced 32" 2560 x 1440 monitors on the market that I've seen and they don't really seem to cut any corners to get it there. My only gripe with the monitor is the stand is not my favorite. I'm not sure I like the size and shape and it does seem to rotate a little too easy. It is very adjustable though and has a Vesa mount for a monitor arm or wall mount. Great buy.

Let me open up this review by saying, yes, you should get this. It's good. I like it. I don't regret my purchase in any way whatsoever and you probably won't either. I'm now going to complain because something this good shouldn't have some of the weird nearly-inconsequential flaws that it does. Input auto-switching is finicky. You occasionally have to do it by hand when it should be obvious to the monitor which input is active. The slim bezel is a double-edged sword. I love that it's comfortable to use in a pair. I also wish it had a little more top bezel to clamp a camera to. FreeSync works great and there's an extended compatibility mode that is intended to make it work with G-Sync if you monkey with your drivers a little. That isn't as consistently reliable as I wish it were, but once you get it going it's mostly fine. It urgently wants to go into sleep mode if there's no signal. This isn't really a problem at all unless you have multiple systems hooked up to the monitor. If you do, you will often find yourself in a situation where you switch inputs, turn on your other machine, and if it doesn't boot like lightning the monitor will assume there's no signal and switch back. It's really only annoying if you want to get into the second machine's setup mode or EFI menu. The back of the monitor is not flat. It's curved toward the mounting post. Remember that camera I wanted to clamp to it? The back of the monitor is not parallel to the front, so the clamp is a little wonky. I read every slip of paper that came with the thing and carefully assembled the mounts. There's still a small plastic clip in one of the parts bags that I have no idea whatsoever what it's for. It's shown on the parts diagram with no description and I've probably spent a good hour trying to puzzle out where it's supposed to go. Maybe one day I'll figure it out but until then the little clips sit in a drawer. Here's my big one, though, and I'd almost call this half a star off the review if I didn't really like this monitor: Two identical monitors from the same shipment sit at different heights. The height is adjustable just fine (although one post is a little stiffer to move than the other). If you bottom out both of my monitors, though, one sits about a quarter of an inch higher than the other. This wouldn't really be a problem for anyone who doesn't have a kind of high desk. I have a kind of high desk so I have to bump the other monitor up by that quarter of an inch. In any case, it's still a great monitor and I'm super happy with these things. No regrets. Despite the fact that 80% of this review consists of complaining, all the things I didn't talk about are fantastic. Picture's great. Price is terrific. Easy to put together. Doesn't take up a ton of space. Has a bit of cable management in the back for multiple inputs and it's pretty easy to reach back there and blindly mess with plugs if you have to. Power cord is acceptably long. It'll actually show a scaled picture if sent a 4K signal, although by default it will complain that you're in the wrong resolution. I dumped the EDID and it's pretty accurate; it's not faking that it's a 4K monitor, it just happens to not fail outright if you get a high resolution signal. All the good stuff. Oh. Right. The stand is kind of ugly. It's got these "cool gamer" red stripes on it that are a bit tacky and dated. If you put the monitors on a swing arm you can avoid having to look at the stand's feet. So, yeah, buy it.

I have monitor shopping for awhile now. My last PC and setup upgrade is over 5 years old now and it was time to start over. Before this behemoth, I had a 24" 1080p display that has served me well, and while I do love its fast response times and high refresh rate, I wanted something larger. Thus, I was looking for at 27" displays; only problem was I couldn't find one within my budget. That's when I heard about this monitor. It had good reviews all around and decided to give it a whirl. Below is my listed Pros/Cons for this monitor. --Pros-- 1. Size This monitor is massive. I thought I knew what 32" displays looked like, but it is a whole different story when it is on your desk. If you are someone who wants a monitor that takes up your whole field of view but doesn't want a 21:9 aspect ratio monitor, this is it. The size of the display is awesome for games. I kicked up Doom 2016 for test run on this guy and I ended up playing for much longer than I originally anticipated. 2. Response Time/Refresh Rate With a low response time and a high refresh rate along with adaptive sync, this monitor is smooth. I play a variety of games and even compared to my former BenQ TN monitor it is fast. It's pleasant to move around the desktop and kill demons in Doom. What more can you ask for? 3. Price The most attractive thing to me is the price of this monitor. Many 1440p/144Hz monitors can be rather expensive. If you want a name brand monitor with those specs, there are only a few under $450 US. On the other hand, this monitor goes on sale from $375 to $300 often (If you can get one in stock). This is a steal for these kind of specs. --Cons-- 1. Size 'Wait... I thought this was a pro?' you might say. While I think it is, this is also can be huge con for some. The monitor for any desk with a depth of less than 2' is too small. You need to either wall mount this beast or have a deep desk. I recommend this due to the weak pixel density of the monitor of around 93ppi. This is about the same PPI of a 24"/1080p display, but it may bother some. 2. VA Panel Some monitor purest dislike VA panels for their bad viewing angles and lack of color reproduction compared to IPS. I personally only notice a slight color shift at the very tips of the corners, this might be a deal-breaker for some. Overall, I would recommend this monitor if you are looking for a big monitor for immersive gaming, multimedia consumption and have the space to easily view this honk of a display.

I am comparing this product to the VIOTEK GN32DB as I've had both and they are direct competitors. I consider this product better for most people, as it renders text clearer, has more accurate colors, and ultimately is a more well rounded product. That being said, I personally enjoyed using the VIOTEK monitor more, as it has a saturation option that allows you to blast colors into your face and this LG monitor does not. The build quality is excellent, as I've found with most LG monitors I've purchased. The cables are managed properly and aren't a pain to plug in. The stand spreads far across the desk, but has no wobble. The stand is also very versatile, with pivot, tilt, height, etc. Excellent build. Some people won't like that the power brick is external- I don't really mind. Picture quality is superb. Colors are great, though might need some tweaking. This monitor offers two "butter smooth gameplay" options in the form of Freesync, which sacrifices GTG response time, and 1ms motion which reduces color quality in exchange for greatly decreasing ghosting and overall making this look and feel like a low latency TN panel. I enjoy having both of these options because you can switch between them - I'd use 1ms for CS:GO and Freesync for something like Witcher 3. These two options cannot be enabled at the same time, but given the types of games they are geared for, I think having these options available are wonderful. As measured by Hardware Unboxed - this monitor is the *only* 32 inch VA panel that he's tested that can keep up with 144hz refresh rate as far as response time goes - measured at 6.5ms (versus most other's ~8.5ms) - I could not personally tell the difference between this and the VIOTEK but it still gains props for being the fastest. Colors are good, contrast was very good and text was reasonably clear. Do note that you are essentially buying a TV- this thing is rather large- however it works well as a monitor particularly for gaming. If you're planning on sitting close to it, however, I'd definitely recommend going for a 27'' 1440p panel instead as text clarity does suffer. This worked well for me based on my sitting distance, but it may not work for a large amount of desk setups. Overall, this is the monitor I'd recommend anyone looking for a larger form factor gaming monitor should get on a budget. It's effectively flawless - where the only gripes I have with it are personal preference and absolutely not normal preferences for anyone to have. LG has done a great job here, and I appreciate how they are bringing their fantastic technology to the budget gaming sector.

I have owned and used this monitor for 3 months. I figure that’s enough time to break it in and write a review. I must say I’m very pleased. It arrived with absolutely no defects. Setup was quick and simple. Connected it to my gaming PC using the provided display port cable. My PC auto adjust and the display was set to 144Hz. I’ve had no issues. It took a bit of tinkering to get the settings on the monitor itself to my liking, but it’s all personal preference at that point. PS5 connectivity: This monitor blows me away with displaying a PS5 image. Upon connecting it with the included HDMI cable that came with the PS5 I tab to the system settings only to realize that the resolution automatically selected is 4K (3840x2160). The monitor itself downscales the 4K image to its native 1440p resolution without any sort of trickery done by the user. The image quality is amazing, colorful and super smooth for the PS5. Apparently some monitors on the monitor are capable of this for the PS5, but not all. 1440p is what a lot of Sony users want, so I was thrilled this monitor makes it happen. 100% Thrilled with all avenues of this display. For $300 you can not go wrong!

I had looked up online suggestions for the settings. There are quite a few options, and the suggestions I went with involved downloading a color package for the monitor. I'm really just guessing here, but I think a color package has to do with how the colors are displayed on the monitor. A bad color package could probably disadvantage even the best monitor. I've extremely satisfied with the suggestions I had found online and with the color package suggested to install. The default color package may be perfectly fine. I adjusted mine before really observing the defaults. This monitor is GORGEOUS while gaming and watching shows. The colors are vibrant, and the monitor is so bright I have to tune it down to 50% or lower some evenings. I'd always prefer a monitor be too bright at 100% than not bright enough. The large screen makes my video editing software feel more comfortable to use. It seems to not advertise this but it seems to be compatible with G-sync. I see a lot of the benefits with it enabled. As a desk monitor this 32" felt a bit too big, but I wouldn't down-size to a 27" still. I did purchase a mount so that I could position the monitor further away. You likely would want to be able to sit three feet or furhter from the monitor for comfortable viewing of the entire screen. It's a big one! I can't say enough good things. I'm extremely satisfied even about 1 month later. I'm not utilizing a ton of the 2k capabilities, but my goodness is it beautiful when I play a 2k game or video.

This is a great monitor. I’ve been using it for gaming for about two weeks, and I have no complaints so far. 1440p 144hz is a wonderful way to game. The picture is easy to adjust, although the options are a bit limited. It looked fine out of the box, but with a little tweaking I’ve got it looking even better. I adjusted the contrast and the black saturation level just slightly, turned on freesync and that’s about it. I’ve included some pics, but they don’t really do it justice. Fortunately mine came free from defects or dead pixels. Any monitor you buy has the potential to come with issues, and I was really worried about the bad reviews for dead pixels. But every monitor I looked at had bad reviews with dead pixels, so if you’re buying a monitor online this is just a risk you take. Out of all of the brands and models I looked at, this was the best bang for buck that ticked all of the boxes. I paid $299 on prime day. If you can get this monitor for under $400 I’d say go for it.

El monitor me llegó antes de lo esperado aún siendo de importación, lo pedí el domingo y llegó hoy Jueves 05/11/20, tenía miedo por esas reseñas donde les llegaron sus monitores con pixeles muertos u otros defectos pero hasta el momento creo que tuve suerte, el monitor funciona a la perfección, vengo de uno 23" 1080p y el cambio es impresionante, la verdad es un buen producto tomando en cuenta el precio y calidad, actualizaré la reseña en caso de que me llegue a dar algún problema en el futuro que espero no sea el caso.

I recently bought an AOC CQ32G1 31.5 curved screen and had a really bad experience , extreme back-light bleed and a red taint in the colors which was impossible to buffer in color setting. Being my first curved experience omitting the problems of the screen , i didn't like the curved for that size and screen ratio (it does make sens on a ultra-wide 21:9 aspect thought ). So i decide to add a little more money and go with this LG screen... and I'm really happy about it! Pros :- No back light bleed, no dead pixels and no weird color taint. -rich colors and deep blacks - flawless free-sync /g sync compatibility - 144hz and flawless gaming experience - Monitor menu is easy to browse and have a tons of features -No curve -Design and build look good, good quality and fully adjustable(high, tilt , rotation) Cons :- None so far. -Hdr? hdr screen are more expensive and start to be good when reaching 600 to 1000 nits and screen with these specs cost twice as much. Best screen of its category!! Highly recommended !

Does a pretty good job, especially in the given price range. Gets 144Hz on 2K resolution with the given DP (DisplayPort) cable inside the box. Great for gaming. If you're a competitive gamer, you'd notice the improvement in display frequency (Hz), but wouldn't be a noticeable difference if you're more of a casual user. Note - - If you're like me, who is downgrading from a 4K resolution, it might take a couple of days to get used to it. The font would looks slightly blurry, especially compared to a 4K one. But after a few days of getting used to it, you'd find it perfect for regular usage, work, reading and gaming. - Monitor is pretty heavy, and the edges are very thin. Doesn't have a huge bezel which is great for viewing, but also requires a bit of care while handling it, during moving or adjusting the monitor screen etc. - You might want to have a slightly larger table/desk, and best to view it from at least 2 feet away or slightly more (about a full-arm's length), since 32-inches is large in size. Height adjustment, rotation and swirl is pretty helpful. With multiple benefits like large screen, good adjustments, high refresh-rate and nice colour representation (customisable), would definitely recommend this monitor for all purposes. Most definitely one of the best 2K monitors in this price range currently. Edit: The price seems to be fluctuating (38k at the time of writing this comment), so wanted to add that I've purchased it for 26k, and I'm pretty happy with what it has to offer in this price range.

Easy assembly, sturdy, not too big as others say. Its fine if you have enough distance from monitor to chair. Only compliant is that its not AS adjustable as ROG monitors if you like to pull it low like myself. No issue tho worth the price.

I recently upgraded my PC (RTX 2070, i5 9600K) and it quickly became obvious that my 1080p monitor was holding me back. This screen has been the best thing I've ever done for my gaming experience. Size: I was a bit skeptical about a 32" monitor, but now I will never go back to anything smaller. It's incredibly immersive, and gives me way more options for viewing distance. Picture quality: Coming from a TN screen, the contrast ratio of this panel is absolutely stunning. It even blows the IPS panel on my laptop out of the water. The colors are incredibly vibrant, the blacks are deep, and the whites are bright and dazzling. I was worried that a VA panel wouldn't live up to IPS, but I was pleasantly surprised. Features: 1440p and 144hz is absolutely the sweet spot for PC gaming right now. But the best part about this panel is the flawless adaptive sync capabilities. It's not G-Sync certified, but it works absolutely flawlessly with an Nvidia graphics card and G-Sync. I came from using a proper G-Sync display, and this performs just as well. No tearing at all. I was also a bit worried about the 5ms response time compared to my 1ms 1080 panel, but my fears were unfounded as it's completely imperceptible to me. Value/Overall: This is an amazing, beautiful, and vibrant panel for a great price. I can't believe the quality I got for less than $600 CAD.
