Took the opportunity to try to give myself a faux-hawk and these clippers worked just fine to do so. The length attachments clipped on easily and the charging cord was long enough that I could have it plugged in while in use. Never cut my own hair before and I think it turned out okay. I've bought 3 other clippers from Sally's Beauty Supply and Wal-Mart but they do not compare to these. The are quiet cut great and you can use it wired or wireless. It also comes with a second battery which you can charge on its own. My first pair of wireless clippers ($40 from Wal-Mart) didnt have that feature and when the battery died you had to place it on the charging dock. Imagine if you were in the middle of cutting. These are so amazing I bought another set just incase something ever happens to my first ones.I cut my hair and my 1 year old sons hair and he was not scared of the sound.
