This heating pad is excellent, and I don't give that rating loosely. I highly recommend it, I wouldn't consider going back to the inadequate drug store pads like the Sunbeam, etc. It is well worth the price. ### ⭐ COMPANY DOES NOT BACK UP PRODUCT *by B***M on June 12, 2018* I really wish I would’ve read through the reviews before re-ordering this product. I am also a long-time user of thermophores and up until now have been a loyal fan. I ordered this one to replace my current one which had suddenly stopped working at exactly the two-year mark, just like the 3 or 4 others that preceded it... but now that i see the pattern, I’m thinking about returning this new one unused and unopened, SOLELY BECAUSE OF THE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. And also, because these units have historically stopped working on me at exactly the two-year mark, which ironically enough is right at the warranty. this time around it happened two days before the warranty ran out, so I contacted the company this morning. The person I talk to in Indiana was cold, unfriendly, and very unhelpful. She asked me a series of questions, then said I could return the unit at my own cost, and if it was found to be a “manufactures defect“, they would send a replacement unit. she would not clarify what a manufactures defect was, versus what would not be considered as such. She then went on to tell me that their heating pad is not designed to be used in anyway other than to lay on your stomach and drape it over your back. I am disabled and I can’t do that, so I drape the heating pad over a cushion and gently lean back against it. So currently I am debating whether I want to spend $15-$20 on returning this item to them, as i kind of expect them to write me back and tell me that it was my fault and not theirs, so then I will not only be out the heating pad, but another $15 as well.Basically, this company knows they have a killer product, and over the years I have not found another product that even compares. But I am not going to continue to spend money on something that DOESNT LAST, and cannot hold up under normal use, especially when the company that’s manufacturing and selling it could care less about their customer, as they have clearly demonstrated not only with myself but with previous reviewers. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Relief for Back Pain *by R***. on December 18, 2020* Thermophore provides moist heat great to relieve back spasms. This pad can become VERY HOT which is why it works.
