Great for non verbal child👍
The volume is too low however it has helped my non verbal autistic boy. I am training him so he can use it to request things on daily basis.

Disappointed
Can't use it. Even on top volume its very quiet. My non verbal grandson held it to his ear but lost interest in it right away as it was too quiet.

The inset buttons are hard to press down & the unit takes button batteries & is not rechargeable
I ordered this talking aid primarily for my 2 year old Granddaughter to aid her communication as she is still developing her speech. Sometimes it can be hard to understand what she is trying to say especially when she is becoming frustrated or upset so I thought this would be useful to ease those situations. The whole unit is quite small which makes it highly portable but it does mean that the buttons are small, especially if you are intending to give it to an adult. The buttons are inset so can be hard to use, especially if you have long nails which make it particularly difficult to maintain pressure whilst recording instructions. The size also makes the pictures harder to see plus some of them are not as simple & straightforward as I would like them to be. As the unit is not rechargeable & only takes batteries, this adds to the cost plus the button batteries are more expensive & fiddly to use.I can see that this would be great for some people but for me, it’s easier to use flash cards which are easy to make specific & can be made at home using laminated card.
