This CAROTE 20cm frying pan works really well for everyday cooking. It heats evenly, the non-stick surface makes cleaning a breeze, and the handle stays comfortable to hold. It’s perfect for eggs, pancakes, and quick meals. That said, I accidentally had the heat a bit too high one day and noticed a smell. When I checked, the handle had turned a bit orangey and the coating peeled slightly. So just be careful not to get the handle too hot or too close to the flame. Overall, a solid pan for the price, just keep an eye on the heat around the handle. Would recommend!

Does everything it said it did. And no, the back doesn’t burn over time if you wash it properly. The reason why some of the reviews are negative is because they don’t clean the back of the pan properly after each use. I’ve been using it for 3+ weeks and no issues so far. The non stick layer is great, has enough weight to it so it doesn’t fall over, easy to clean and it just looks great, especially for this price. Can easily fit 2 eggs + 2 sausages or 4 eggs. About the same diameter as a regular fork.

A small pan is one of my most go-to pans in the kitchen for solo work - scrambled eggs, fried egg, etc. I cook a lot so they get hammered. My previous pan was starting to have a few issues on my induction hob so I had a look around and found this. I was tempted to just replace with my existing brand but took a punt and am pleased I did - its better than my previous "stone/marblesque coating" pan by a distance. Two things for me make this better - firstly there are no handle rivet heads on the inside of the pan, which makes cleaning it easier. This is often overlooked by pan makers, and its a hassle when cleaning off scrambled eggs which stick to the rivet heads. Secondly, the coating is smoother than other types and so it makes it more non-stick and easier to clean. Didn't think I would like the handle as I prefer just plain utilitarian black but it feels comfortable and sturdy to use so I will live with that and it actually looks classy. Am so impressed with it I'm thinking of replacing my other pans with the other models in the range, even though I don't need to...

I have had this pan for 3 months now. Prior to this, had only bought and used the £5 or so worth pans from super markets which did the job, but very soon would catch any and all food, the centre of the base would bend inwards, get stained all over and what not. This pan is in a different league all together. It feels robust and heavy. Got a visibly thick base and lovely wooden handle to keep the heat off. What’s more, if you are sensible about cooking, and use just a little oil, and not go full throttle on very high heat, you will be okay with this. In the 3 months I had used this, I had made several omelettes, scrambled eggs, sausages, pan cakes, noodles and it had been absolutely fantastic. - food didn’t stick to the bottom - food was cooked nicely with even heat distribution - Omlette etc was so easy to flip over - after cooking, there is no spots or stains on the pan which need you to muscle your way through - Pan base is solid and hasn’t deformed. The pictures I have attached will hopefully convince you to buy this :) Note: The photo of the empty pan o have attached was taken just after I finished cooking (& prior to washing). The last dish I made prior to taking this pic was scrambled eggs. You can see how clean it ends up as. Recommend this pan very much. Enjoy cooking !

Number one selling point, for me, was the non-toxic, non-leaching/off-gassing nature of the non-stick coating. I don't normally like to use aluminium cooking pots and pans because aluminium can leach into the foods too but I trust that the ceramic-based non-stick coating also keeps the aluminium out of the food. Being aluminium makes this pan exceedingly lightweight but strong. The handle looks like a very light coloured grained wood but is actually some kind of synthetic material which has an almost rubbery feel to it. This makes it extremely comfortable to hold and provides a non-slip gripping surface. Just the right size for a singleton to make an omelette in!

I purposely waited a few weeks before I did this review so I could get a decent idea of how it would perform. I didn't have much expectation of it when it arrived? Looked a bit underwhelming. Decent build and quality. But after a few weeks it's my go to pan for breakfast, lunch etc. Lightweight and solid. The non stick is excellent, even when I add maple syrup to the bacon at the end of cooking? The handle is very comfortable to hold. No issues when it's put under the grill for omelettes. I've even used it for mini stir frys. All in all a great pan. Can highly recommend it.

I usually try and stick to one name brand for all our pans. Seeing as we have an induction stove our options are some what limited. Our regular name brand pan was going to cost close to $100. No way would I pay that so I looked at the reviews on this pan and ordered it. I was very sceptal about doing so as I'm not really a fan of pans that the handles are screwed on. Prefer ones that are riveted. Have used this pan a few times now and honestly, we love it. Just a small amount of ghee and eggs are sliding all over the place. Very even heat distribution and very easy to clean. The handle itself feels very nice in the hand. It's not wood but some other material. Does not get hot at all. Overall I would highly recommend this pan. Very impressed!!
