Is there a video showcasing how this sounds? i want to be sure i am buying a shamisen and not a sanshin

It's a Chinese Sanxian, the forefather of the Shamisen

were do i get strings for thIs ?

It comes with them. I have not needed replacements but it is usually pretty easy to match the diameter by comparing them to strings at any guitar store.
