Natural Cat Food, Kitten Multipack Chicken and Fish Selection in Jelly Tin, 6 x 70 g

Applaws cat food in the fish flavor has been a hit with both my British Shorthair cat and Ragdoll kitten! They both absolutely love it, and it complements their Applaws dry food perfectly, making it a great choice for a balanced diet. Pros: 1. Irresistible Flavor: Both cats are obsessed with the fish flavor. Mealtime has become their favorite part of the day! 2. High-Quality Ingredients: Applaws uses real fish and no unnecessary fillers, so I feel confident in the nutrition I’m providing. 3. Easy to Digest: Both cats, despite their different ages and breeds, tolerate it well with no tummy issues. 4. Perfect Pairing with Dry Food: Works great as a wet food option alongside Applaws dry food for variety and complete nutrition. 5. Soft Texture: The texture is ideal for my Ragdoll kitten, making it easy for her to eat, while the British Shorthair loves it too. Cons: 1. Small Portions: The portions could be slightly larger, especially for bigger or more active cats. 2. Pricey: It’s a premium product, so it’s more expensive than some other brands, but the quality makes it worth it. My kitten is a very fussy eater and was eating barely anything so I got these to try to tempt her to eat something, even if it's not a complete food. As soon as I opened the can she went mad - jumped up on the worktop to get to it which has never happened before - and ate every morsel, even licking the mat in case she'd missed any! I only gave her a small amount the first time to make sure it didn't disagree with her but it was fine and she will happily eat an entire can in one go given the opportunity! She likes all the flavours but the sardine is her favourite, it's a shame you can't buy a tray of it on it's own. It smells and looks like what it's made from and has a nice soft texture for her once mashed with a fork. It has visible bits of rice in but she eats it all. It's expensive as cat food goes but some great offers can be found and it's worth it to know she's eating something so good. It's an occasional treat as it's not a complete food but a guaranteed hit every time with my fussy Pumpkin Puss. Highly recommended

You want to give a new kitten the best start in life I suppose. I'm no scientist so all I can do is assess the blurb on the pack and hope it's all true. It seems like a decent kitten food and worth paying a bit extra for. Often the main thing is with cats is finding something they will actually eat and the reason I keep buying this is that my kitten, now five months old, eats every morsel and always has. She really likes it. Enough said.

Bought different flavours as my three cats love different tastes they seemed to love all of these I do feel like I am buying them good quality food as the ingredients show they love the textures too although the chicken is very stringy and needs to be cut up into smaller pieces but would buy again

I’ve offered this to my 2 kittens after feeding them the dry biscuits since we got them 2 months ago. I had been feeding them Felix pouches as that’s what the breeder had them on exclusively & I wanted to maintain some consistency whilst gradually providing them a better quality food with their main (dry) food. I did try them for a week on Amazons own wet kitten pouches, but never again! Because of that disaster, I decided to up the quality of their wet food & wow, what a difference! The smell is actually pleasant & is so much better than typical (cheaper) wet food. The texture is dense & not pumped with water, so I know I’m paying for more protein, rather than the weight of each tin being bulked up with water & fillers. You do need to mash it up, or Applaws do offer pouches if they suit your needs better. The nutritional content is great, with a meat content in line with the obligate carnivore diet they require. 50% is chicken, so both kittens have been eating less, meaning I am saving money in the long run. Their body condition score has also improved, going from a 3 to a 4. One of the kittens had a very slightly scruffy coat, but this has also improved since moving onto Applaws completely. Her sisters who had a better coat originally, now has a glossy sheen! Our previous cat who was on Applaws for her last 10-15 years had a beautiful glossy coat, so it’s nice to see Applaws having this positive affect on our two new kittens. Visits to the litter boxes have also improved, with firmer faeces that no longer stinks out half the house! One thing to be aware of though, is if you’re moving from brands that say “with…” or “rich in…” that list “meat & animal derivatives” or “derivatives of vegetable origin” in the ingredients, to a food with a higher meat content (40-75%), the change needs to be gradual. Their tummies will not be used to that much meat, so they may not be able to utilise all of it straight away & could potentially get an upset tummy. Mix your old food with Applaws over 1-2 weeks, starting with roughly 25% Applaws, 75% old food, then 50:50, and finally 75:25 before solely feeding Applaws or any other similar quality food. You may be able to do this faster, but this is a general guide & Id personally go slower to prevent any discomfort or stress for your kitty. Applaws may cost more initially, but in the long run costs less as it lasts so much longer. The high protein content will keep your cats appetite satisfied for longer & the quality ingredients will show in your cats appearance & behaviour.

It’s not the best, the sardine flavour my kitten absolutely hates and he’s not picky and also this is not a complete food either. If you are looking for food, try blink.

Knew that this kitten Food would be better for her than the jelly packet ones, I have been worried about her weight and thought I'd try this. She always left some of her branded jelly food and I thought she just preferred her dry food. How wrong I was, she wolfed this down, and came to me purring and giving cuddles, see pic. Safe to say it is definitely a hit with my 4 month old kitty :-) now I may have started something here as obviously this is a more expensive product, but I cannot put a price on her contentment and health. This is a true winner 10/10.

My kittens have completely turned their nose up at this. Not keen on the smell. Has white spots in the meat which just looks unappealing.
