Great quality
Love my new vest, feels very heavy but once it’s on you soon het used to it and it doesn’t dig in to your shoulders, definitely helps with posture. Was a bit gutted initially that it’s sand & not adjustable but 3 seconds after wearing it got over that, it moulds to you which is better

Great weighted vest - Stable for running, very
Every now and again I buy something and feel the need to write an instant review 🤣 I’m training for a Hyrox event and came across an article recommended running with a weighted vest. After researched quite abit I got down to three on Amazon and plumped for this one. It came today and I went for two runs with it this evening, to the gym and back. Pro’s 1. Easy to set up, literally ready to go out of the Box 2. With the straps tightened it felt an extension of me when running. It fitted snugly around me and didn’t feel like it was bouncing with even weight spread (I’m 5’7”, 72kg) 3. Plenty of room for my arms to swing 4. A lot of similar products have reviews talking about a strong smell, there was none with this 5. Research the weight. There is a good guide above, I went for 12lbs (5.4Kg) which is c.7.5% of my body weight. It felt comfortable. 6. It felt comfy on the shoulders - I fitted the shoulder pads Cons 1. The phone pocket kept hitting me in the face. However it can be removed, or moved elsewhere which I will probably do for my Next run 2. It would be good to have a pocket for a small water bottle or gels on the front Overall delighted with the purchase and can see it really helping my training.

Perfect.
This is a great weights vest, as well as it being reflective it is well made and well thought out. It includes shoulder pads as well as a phone or items holder that can also be placed on your upper arm as well as on the vest, if you choose to use them. For me this vest is the right length, size and the weight for my 5ft7 height and build. It is comfortable for me to wear, I am very pleased, good choice for me, definitely as a first timer. Now let's look out for the results.

Much smaller than the size chart implies
I am just under 5'5, BMI 24 and a 34F. This 12lb vest is quite small and I can just manage one strap below my bust at full length but the lower strap doesn't quite reach. I'm trying to lose a little weight so hopefully it will soon. I had expected it to have a much larger fit based on the information on here. The shoulder pads make a difference, much more comfortable sitting on a bra strap, less of an issue for men. The added phone holder is good, fits my decent sized smart phone and has another pocket that would take keys and a credit card. It all seems well made. Unlike some others, the weights are not removable or adjustable.

I ordered the 12lb vest, and I love it. It is not too heavy, and it works great for indoor and outdoor use. Will definitely have to purchase a heavier one once this one starts feeling too light. It is very comfortable too; it does not dig into my arms and fits well. The material is of good quality, and the beads stay inside the product.

16 lbs is truly a good starting point. I am a 56yr female: 5’7” and 160 lbs. Although after a few months, I may bump it up to a heftier weight. My Dr wanted me to wear it around the house while doing chores (let’s add in I maintain my pool and mow (not a ride-on) 1/3 acre and do all the yard maintenance, along with cleaning the house. I don’t hire people. Either way: lots of squatting, easy to get 9,000 steps of daily walking while wearing it. I just had a full physical with a bmi measurement. I’m in the process of losing weight. This has helped me build more muscle than fat. This is a bonus of wearing a weighted vest while walking, doing chores, climbing stairs, etc. I would never wear while driving. Ha! Some people. I did not notice any chemical smell from the vest even from day 1. 16-lbs is relatively easy for me to get on although that was a hefty box initially at the front door. I believe the vest weight is evenly distributed front to back. If I had to complain, I wish the straps were 1+ more or perhaps 1 smaller strap in addition to the other straps. I have the straps cinched all the way for a better fit for me and yet it feels a bit big. Some might say, it should fit the way it does and yet it does not slip around. It’s comfortable enough to wear while getting chores done, therefore if you are walking 2-4 miles, it should be comfortable enough. My firefighter wears a 60lb vest to walk to the gym or walk 5 miles to add further perspective. I will most likely bump the weight up to a 25lb next. If you are just starting out, buy the 16 lbs. I know it will feel heavy at first, but that will quickly be nothing.

I purchased this 12lb weighted vest to add resistance to my workouts and daily walks. I’ve been using it for a month or so, and it’s made a noticeable difference in my endurance and strength. Pros: • Even weight distribution — doesn’t dig into shoulders • shoulder pads included for comfort • little pouch included for phone • Stays in place during long walks Cons: • Slight chemical smell when first opened (went away after airing out) Overall, this vest is exactly what I needed to take my training to the next level. Great for anyone wanting to build strength or burn more calories during workouts.

I bought the 12 lb vest. It’s perfect! I have only had it today. However, I wore it on my 1 mile dog walk and I also kept it on while I did chores around the house. You can definitely feel the weight but it’s not too much. It’s very comfortable to wear, it’s cushioned on the shoulders, and comes with additional shoulder cushions. My son is also considering purchasing one for his workouts. I didn’t feel like my movement was restricted, it feels like it’s good quality, and I really felt the effectiveness during my work out
