(has hinge on the left side and a clasp on the right. So it's vrey easy to use. Although you don't need to take it off as you can charge, use and operate the ipod with it on unlike other cases where you have to remove it from the case to charge or other things. It's solid metal all around. ### ⭐⭐ Returned *by P***O on February 9, 2015* I purchased this for a IPod Nano, first generation. It did not fit. This was described as fitting that model.
