This fits the ipod perfectly. it opens like a clamshell from one side. (has hinge on the left side and a clasp on the right. So it's vrey easy to use. Although you don't need to take it off as you can charge, use and operate the ipod with it on unlike other cases where you have to remove it from the case to charge or other things. It's solid metal all around.

I purchased this for a IPod Nano, first generation. It did not fit. This was described as fitting that model. Returned for refund.

Didn't think I would be able to find a case for such an old iPod, but of course Amazon had one. This metal case fits snugly around the iPod - no problems.

No frills just a good, fairly sleek looking replacement for older 2nd generation Nano iPod at a VERY reasonable cost.

I was lucky to even find this little metal case for the 2 G iPod Nano! I am thrilled. The nano fits perfectly, and there is access to all the plug ins. My iPod even fits into my player with the case on it! It's sturdy, and I actually like it better than the rubber skin I had for about 4 years. You won't be disappointed if you buy this little gem.

Very poorly constructed. Won't even latch close.

The skin fits well and is easy to put on or remove. I bought this one in particular because the blue looked a bit darker than some of the others listed but when I got it in the mail noticed that the actual skin is a lighter color than pictured. It is not a drastic difference but it may be something to consider for anyone choosing by the color.

Fits great and I'm really glad I purchased it. Would have liked a little clear cover for the display as part of the case cover, but hey, it's good enough.
