## Description

Designed and engineered in our world-famous Acoustic Engineering Center of Excellence in Northridge, California, Stage 240H is a compact multi-purpose loudspeaker suitable for surround or elevation channel use. With the flip of a switch, it is a Dolby Atmos enabled add-on, or a wall mounted elevation or surround loudspeaker. The 240H features a 2-way way design with Next Generation patented High-Definition Imaging (HDITM) waveguide geometry, 1-inch (25mm) Anodized Aluminum dome tweeter, and a 4.5-inch (114mm) Polycellulose cone woofer that provides deep, signature JBL bass.

They will have no issue satisfying the demands of Dolby Atmos or any other surround sound application with in a home environment. They are solid and well made with a faux dark cocoa wood exterior which more than satisfy most people's aesthetic tastes. I'm happy with this purchase.

A well crafted speaker with switchable crossover for various speaker configurations. Manually set up with your AVR to maximize Atmos effects, especially if mounting on top of front towers. Overall a great speaker! Update: Purchased the Klipsch R-41SA for rear height modules but prefer the sound from the JBL Stage 2 240H speakers. Buy the JBL's! Update June 2026: Purchased another pair of the JBL Stage 2 240H speakers to replace the Klipsch R-41SA speakers. Better power handling and better sound. Caught them on sale to make it an even better deal!
