This is the really cool device, I can stream or share the screen from my Android, iPhone, Mac and Windows Phone without any restrictions and going through wired connections. The nice thing about it, it supports Apple devices without having apple tv.To setup the device, instructions are similar to the Chromecast device.- Connect the dongle to TV HDMI with USB for power- Change the TV mode to dongle inserted HDMI port- Dongle-based HomePage would be visible on your TV- Connect the dongle Wifi via Mobile/Laptop/Mac Device- After connected, Open the default URL mentioned on TV Screen- Dongle Configuration settings would show up on that page, add your wifi SSID and password in a configuration- Restart the dongle- Once above setup is done, you are good.If you want to stream from iPhone, make sure you are connected to home wifi and you could screen share through airplay. I have personally tested with Android, iPhone, Mac and Windows Devices. You don't need any additional device to do streaming for cross-platform devices.It does support 1080p content without any issue. If you have any issue with lagging then I would say it is your wireless connection and router issue, having the good wireless connection is important to deliver higher quality content. It supports 2.4 GHz bands so, it might get noisy. I would suggest to keep the device near to the router or having a good router address that problem. I wish they had support for 4k content, I know that is more at this price. For this price and support, I would say this is worth buy for streaming cross-platform devices, no other well-known device support this feature.

It doesn't work. Google home will not recognize it. Phone can't connect to its wifi to set it up. The app has adds in it.

so, I was happy to find something that i can use to cast my devices to my TV because the mirroring does not seem to work on the tv. This allows me to connect any device to the TV. The connection however is not the best! it sluggs and freezes up sometimes. Also, the cast will not cast the full size of the TV....it is maybe half the size of the TV and that sucks. if the connect was better and the casting was full size, I would give this a four.

Couldnt install this. Follow instructions for hook up but wouldn't find my Wifi, as it sat right next to my Apple TV that is connected to Wifi. Not easiest to understand for hooking up and I'm pretty savvy with Tech and Networking. I use to be a network/IT administrator.

I tried it for a little while and it connected to my 2.4GHz router just fine. but it tended to lag considerably and I would drop many frames and lose seconds of audio/video at a time. I bought it to watch youtube videos at 720p.

I really like this device. It's easy to plug into your TV and set up is self explanatory. I don't even need cable tv anymore. Just wirelessly stream from any device to your TV through this awesome little device. This works really well with my iPhone so I don't need to use Apple TV. Just need to follow the directions for set up, restart it, and your are set. I'm really enjoying this product. Two thumbs up!

It doesn't work!!!I was trying to use the QR code to connect the link in order to connect this device with chromecast, but the QR code doesn't work. Even though the device can connect the phone but it can't connect with chromecast. And I wrote a message to the seller and asked them what should I do to connect with chromecast but it's been many days, they just didn't respond to me so I'm going to return it........

Bought to use in my rv, couldn't get it to work. No support, email the same instructions that came with it. Didnt get a reply for assistance until a week after I returned it.
