Super high quality hiking backpack
Definitely worth the money--high quality, durable and easy to use hiking backpack. Things like the zipper and pull are heavy-weight, but ergonomic and user-friendly. We used it on a several week hike as a daypack and it worked well to hold a few sweatshirts, snacks and water bottles. Will certainly last years!

Osprey really never disappoints.
I recently picked up a rugged pack fromOsprey, and Iโve been really impressed. Itโs water-resistant and stands up to all the usual daily wear and tear. It's perfect for bike commutes or rainy days. The design is nice and simple. It has one large main compartment plus a couple of zippered side pockets. I love that there arenโt a bunch of tiny sections; itโs easy to stuff in a laptop, lunch, a water bottle, and accesories without overthinking where everything goes. The roll-top closure is clever. If I have less stuff, I roll it down and it hugs everything snugly, but it easily expands when I need more space. Comfort-wise, itโs great on my back. The mesh panel rests nicely and keeps things breathable, even when Iโm biking. The straps are cushioned enough that I donโt notice them digging in, even with heavier loads. One thing to point out is that while itโs water-resistant, itโs not fully waterproof. Iโve been careful in heavy rain, but it has handled light showers with no issues so far. I did notice a couple of quirks. Thereโs an interior laptop sleeve thatโs padded, which is nice, however outside of that, there arenโt many organizational pockets. So if you carry small items like pens or cables you might want a little pouch to keep things tidy. And depending on your setup, the lack of extra pockets can be a bit limiting, but for me, the minimalist design is exactly what I want. Overall, this pack feels durable and well-built. It's exactly what I expect from the brand. Iโve been using it daily for a few weeks now, and itโs lived up to the hype. If you want a straightforward, tough commuter pack that adapts to your load and keeps things simple, this oneโs a winner.

Minimalist, Compact but Prestigious!
As someone who's perpetually caught between "I need to bring my entire office" and "I should embrace minimalism," this backpack forces me to make adult decisions about what actually needs to come with me. Sure, I can't bring my complete 10 year collection of power supplies, dongles, hubs, mice, etc., but my laptop will stay dry in surprise rain showers, and the sleek design makes me look like I have my life together (spoiler: I don't). The high-riding position on your back means you'll stand straighter - it's basically a posture coach you can put your snacks in. At this price point ~$130 (at time of review), it's like buying a tiny apartment in a fancy neighborhood - compact but prestigious! Positives: - Excellent water resistance (put under faucet for 2 minutes and not a drop inside) - Decent laptop protection with elevated bottom design so your laptop isn't the first thing to hit the ground) - Durable material quality - Comfortable wearing position - Wide main opening for easy access that can be cinched down for a more compact look, or released to get a bit more capacity. -adjustable chest strap (slide on rail) -compresses pretty flat and perfect for travel Negatives: - Limited organization for smaller items - Price reflects brand premium - Basic internal organization with no real pouches or internal organization. -No external water bottle holder/access you can Overall, while premium-priced, the backpack does delivers on the core premise of being a durable, water-resistant commuter pack with excellent laptop protection. It is best suited for minimalist commuters who prioritize protection over storage capacity and prefer to have their own sleek/compact peripheral organizers. If you want a pack that can hold very large drink bottles or one with an external holder that is accessible without unzipping the side pocket this will not be your pack. For others looking for a durable, long lasting, minimalist pack that performs and don't mind paying a premium for that this is a solid option.

High quality backpack
Osprey makes great bags for all kinds of applications. This one is designed for day-to-day use. The material is light and strong. The bag itself is roomy with comfortable straps. It isn't cheap, but it's a great quality bag

Excellent pack, well designed and very well made
Great backpack by Osprey. This backpack is light weight but very durable. It is listed as "commuter" and generally made for laptop and/or tablets but it is really versatile. We went on a trip to Gulf Shores, and I used it to transport my work laptop, private laptop and a Fire tablet, plus all power supplies that these devices require and it worked great. Then we had a beach day, and this was my only backpack, so I decided to put our beach necessities into this pack. I was amazed how well it handled everything. 2 large beach towels, 2 shirts, a power bank, my tablet, a bluetooth speaker, a lighter, 2 cans of sunscreen and as you can see, the pack was far from overstuffed, and had plenty of space for more. The zippers have nice attachments that make the zippers easy to open and close. WHAT I LIKE: Roomy, versatile, great color and material, comfortable to wear, well designed strap shape WHAT I MISS: I wish the pack had a smaller outside pocket to keep your phone handy. The side pockets are great for water and in my case the speaker and the sunscreen, but I am missing a pouch for a cell phone. I also wish the cinch feature can with snap closures and instead of just the pull down. Neither of these would prevent me from purchasing, just some nice to haves.

When I call it minimalistic I mean two key characteristics: 1. Simplicity of the design = one main compartment for almost everything including laptop and electronic accessories like mouse, charger, headphones and two zippered side pockets for slim water bottle, small umbrella and some smaller valuables like phone or wallet... It is actually sophisticated design without overkilling complexity for everything city warrior really needs for every day urban commute! 2. It's slim, sleek and small = I would say it is around 16L-18L of actual capacity indeed, not even close 22L as advertised on the paper... It's completely enough to fit your laptop (up to 16"), charger, over-the-ear collapsible headphones in the protective case, mouse, battery, cables, thermo bottle (up to 20oz max though), some small valuables and accessories plus very little room to spare for some modest extra, like sandwich or thin rain jacket or midseason down vest maximum! Definetely there is NO room for gym shoes of something alike, just bare essentials only! The key advantages from my perspective are: 1. Slim, very convenient in the public transport for everyday commute 2. Zippered side pockets exclude the danger of the lost / fallen out expensive thermo bottles like Zojirushi 16oz I have and demonstrated on the one of the provided photos... 3. Tough as nail, 630D exterior ripstop nylon and 840D enforced bottom would hold any wear and tear for years to come! 4. Very comfortable on the back (I'm 5'11" and about 190lb) despite it seats rather high on me = Osprey biostrech harness system with airscape back panel are just awesome! 5. Dimensions of the backpack are easely compatible with strictest personal item limitations in addition to bigger carry-on luggage with no complaints from TSA! 6. Top-notch protection for your electronics thanks to elevated laptop compartment and weather proof carbonated coating on the exterior = moderate rain is not a problem at all! The key downsides and cons though: 1. No dedicated soft pocket for sunglasses 2. To some extent plasticky look and appearance you would say... However in black raven colour its rather stealth and fit with any dress code as well. 3. Rather limited capacity enough for bare essentials only, just be aware not to have any illusions regarding its REAL capacity! Let's say Mystery Ranch Catalyst 22L is considerably more spacious pack compared to given Osprey, while Thule Chasm 26L (see one of the provided pictures) could easily hold almost twice as much load compared to given Osprey...
