Retro Sours | Hard Tangy Candy | Brought To You By Iconic Candy (8, Citrus)

Citrus flavor- It’s an interesting attempt. This doesn’t quite get the original tastes right (if you had the altoids you probably remember it was unique). The sour hits harder than the original for the initial sour taste but it is all at once (doesn’t last at all) but the original was a bit less sudden, and the sour lasted longer. I may be wrong but I also remember a more upfront salt taste to the original. The switch to sweet citrus taste was quickly replaced by very upfront sweet and the citrus flavor was less obvious. Note that none of my comments should suggest it’s not good. It is good, imo. But not a copy of the Original Altoids Sours. Maybe they will get that right in time.

Lovely but quite overpriced. The sour is a strong hit, but fades to sweet very fast.

This one is probably the sourest out of the three I bought. Tastes good and would buy again. They are a little more expensive than my local area but can’t get a large variety as you can on Amazon.

Delicious. Price is good. I'd like sugar free.

Don't believe anything about them being super sour, they absolutely are not.I'm glad the tin was available, they are tasty just not sour at all, and the tin isn't a tight fit so the candy gets wet with humidity so small lemon candies clump together
