how wide are these rulers?

They are the same width as a regular school ruler

Are they flat on both sides?

I did not see the rulers. They were a donation to my Teacher Niece's first grade class.

Do these have a bevel edge? Description says yes, but pictures show they do not?

yes, they are beveled. however, they do not go down to a fine edge, it is beveled from approx 1/8" full thickness to 3/32" on the measuring edge.
