Old Cedar Outfitters Round Floor Rack for Fishing Rods and Reels, Holds up to 15 Rod and Reel Combos

Read the reviews, but bought the camo version anyway. People complained about crooked connections, weak rod holders and it tips over. Well this is what I encountered. I assembled the bottom post to the base and tightened. IT WAS crooked, so I slowly bent it straight and was able to tighten further and it was now straight. It happened with the mid-section too and did the same thing again. I believe that the inner core with the screw and/or nut that's pressed inside the posts are uneven during manufacturing, but can be adjusted the way I wrote. The rod rings are good as long as you DON'T force spread them wide. They do not regain their original shape. I pulled one off and soaked in HOT water, squeezed it together and ran cold water on it. It now stays closed as intended. Lastly, tipping over did NOT happen to me. I put 10 rods on the stand (8 with reels). I would NOT put saltwater gear on this as they are much heavier than freshwater. Stand takes up small footprint and looks good. Save money and but the camo, you can always put shelf-paper over it to match your decor...

When you have so many fishing rods that you don't know what to do, this is an economical way to store them decoratively yet safely. It's a low display, I'd keep it atop something else to not have to stoop to reach the poles. The bottom rests in the round depression made for it, and the top can go into the loop to hold it in place easily. The loops open with little resistance. Since it's a dark color, it will show dust quickly. Maybe that's part of your decor, I don't judge.

It's a nice rack for the money. A part of the laminate was peeling off when it arrived. I pressed it back down and the adhesive is holding so far. If it were more expensive, I would have taken a star off for that. For the price, I really can't complain. It's a good value.

These are pretty crappy. The rubber holders fail and your rods fall out. The base does not stay tight and when you pick it up to move it the top section moves separate from the bottom section, they become misaligned and the poles fall out. I do not recommend these.

This product was actually purchased for a different use other than fishing poles. My son collects lightsabers, heavy lightsabers. I had a hard time finding a product that was capable of supporting the weight of them all. My mom suggested I try this and we are so pleased we did. Not only does it hold them all, they look pretty great in this stand also. It was super easy to assemble and it’s pretty sturdy.

Holds fishing rods well. Clips are a little flimsy but it still holds everything well. Well priced. Easy to put together. Now I just gotta buy more rods to put into the stand :)

It is a reaqlly lovely display unit. However I was expecting a tad better quality and not just a mass produced chipboard product. It does what I needed it for. The clips on the top are a bit fiddly though. I wouldn't want to be constantly using the stand. My purpose was to display collector rods and it does that fine.
