These were so quick and easy to make. We used them for my cats one year home celebration and they were perfect. My cats can be picky with foods, so I wasn’t expecting either of them to like it. We decided to put treats on top as eyes and in hopes of luring the cats in. The celebratory girl didn’t want to try the cake, but her brother loved them. We had no issues with the microwave smell others are mentioning. I only came across one minor problem. I did have to cut the tops and edges because they came out uneven, but that was an easy fix. Also, it came with a candle, which we did not use and comes with a tray that can be reused! Overall, so cute and very affordable compared to other cakes. Made our little celebration feel complete. Even if both cats didn’t like it I’d still recommend for the aesthetic. They really make the occasion feel special and are the perfect centerpiece.

Looked cute and was easy to make, but my cat was not a fan. He had some of the frosting and threw it up 30 mins later. Wouldn’t touch the cake part. Waste of my money.

Our cat absolutely loved these little cakes. We gave him half of a cake at a time over several days, mixed with some gravy. The packaging is easy to open, and the instructions are clear. It was easy to make the mixes, we used a tiny bit more water for the icing than the packaging recommended to make it easier to spread. I will say, the odor of cooking them was strong. Highly recommend leaving your microwave open for a while afterwards to air out and let it dissipate. Once they're out of the microwave it's not bad in the open air, but our microwave definitely had a funky smell for a little bit afterwards. Our cat liked the cakes initially, but they are a bit dry and unwieldy (for a little dude with no thumbs haha), so we actually cut the half cakes into smaller pieces and mixed in a little bit of gravy to soften it up. He LOVED that. Very cute product. Worth a try! And cheap enough that if your cat is picky and doesn't like them it's not a huge loss.

Looks very unappetizing cause the batter when baked sticks in the mold even if you coat it. Fortunately, my cat does not care what it looks like and I was amazed that he liked it as picky as he is. Problem is the recipe calls for 1 Tbs of canned pumpkin. After this, what do you do with the rest of the can?

I purchased this kit for my cat’s birthday and it was better than I expected! She’s pretty picky so the fact that she ate any of it was a huge victory! She absolutely LOVED the “icing” and nibbled on the cake part. I recommend this to anyone who wants to celebrate a special kitty in their life.

This was a fun gift for my cat's birthday but she refused to eat it. It looked gross, it wasn't cute enough for pictures. Demolding went badly, it kind of fell apart. It smelled AWFUL.
