I use these when I have to pull out my refrigerator, range, or dishwasher for repair or cleaning. They are relatively easy to use, although they do want to stay rolled up, so you have to stand on them as you start to slide out the appliance. They protect my floors well. They roll back up and are easy to store. Review: Protected our vinyl floor - I bought these so we could move our fridge to clean behind and underneath it without putting indentations/scratches in our vinyl floor. These worked very well. We didn’t follow the included directions; instead we were able to lift the front of the fridge up slightly and slide the boards under the front wheels. We then rolled the fridge onto the boards as we were not concerned about scuffing the floor underneath where the fridge usually sits. One of us did hold the boards in place so they would not slip away while the other pushed the fridge. When we were done, we rolled the fridge back and removed the boards. There were no marks left on the floor and overall it was very easy. As a size reference, our fridge is 32" deep.
