Updated review. I’m trying to stay away from caffeinated coffee so I thought I would give this one a try. Ordered two different kinds. This one arrived first. The first couple sips seemed okay but before I could finish I was feeling nauseous and my head was spinning. I’ve never experienced anything like that. When the second bag arrived later that day I did not open it and tried to start a return. This is a food product so a return is not possible. The company did reach out and offer a refund though. The company representative was very kind and helpful. This product has thousands of 5 star reviews. If you’ve never tried it before though I would recommend only ordering one bag to start. If your body can tolerate it that’s awesome. Dandelion root is good for you.

I love coffee but it doesn't love me--the caffeine and the acid make me miserable. This is the first alternative I've found that tastes great and keeps my stomach and nerves happy after I drink it.

So I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis which im 100% sure stemmed from my caffeine intake years ago. Specifically starbucks coffee and pre workout. I finally decided to give up coffee when I noticed a direct correlation to my inflammation and flares. I was suuuuuuuper not happy to say the least to be considering a dandelion drink as a substitute… to my surprise though it is my favorite thing ever. I dont miss coffee at all or the pain it caused me. The flavor doesnt taste like coffee ok. It isnt coffee. However it does taste like a warm, snuggly, drink in the morning that tricks my mind into whole heartedly accepting it as coffee. The flavor is distinct and I cant quite describe it but if you do two spoons in about 16 oz of water its strong enough that it can taste like a bitter black cup of nescafe. I find that I dont need or like to add creamer. I only add a tiny bit of sugar. You can pretty much dress it up however you’d like and half the time lets be real, that caramel brulee latte from stabucks is 85 percent milk anyways. Was it ever the coffee or the routine? Im absolutely obsessed now and so thankful I ignored the negative reviews. IT ISNT COFFEE STOP BEING MAD THAT IT DOESNT TASTE LIKE COFFEE. Its a delicious dandelion root tea that is good for my messed up gut. Im on the way to remission and im sorry this is so long but I just hope you give it a chance as openminded as I did.

I’ve bid adieu to caffeine due to an overworked and disgruntled CNS. In my quest for a satisfying coffee substitute, I stumbled upon this. I was genuinely excited to give it a whirl. Alas, the reality is more like sipping bitter herbal tea that’s accidentally mingled with a good dose of tobacco. Not quite the robust hug-in-a-mug I was hoping for! I usually enjoy my coffee black or with just a splash of milk, but this concoction is going to need some serious witch-doctoring to make it enjoyable. If you’re trying to dodge caffeine, do yourself a favor: skip this adventure and go for a trusted herbal tea instead. Or maybe just stick with a steaming cup of hot carob—it’s definitely less of a gamble!

Not a bad taste, nice flavour!!

I thought I liked the mocha best. I like the dandelion dark too. Both are good, a hint of sweetness with mocha. I mix it half and half with decaf to make "coffee".

Tried to return as found cheaper elsewhere but unable to return. So forced to keep. Partner made the coffee and found it unpleasant so being thrown away now alot of money wasted.

I love and switch between three different flavours . It’s the only non caffeine that helped me kick the caffeine jitters .. I don’t miss coffee at all . I love the smell of hazelnut and vanilla ..

Having read the description and reviews, AND having experienced proper Dandelion coffee before I was expecting this to blow me away considering its high price and customer reviews, sadly I was not pleased with the flavour at all, it tastes like the cheapest coffee flavouring you get on long life mass produced sweets or cakes you see in petrol stations. Its way more of a Chicory flavour rather then a coffee bean. I waited nearly 2 weeks for this to arrive and was thoroughly let down having made a cup, I've tried it black, as a bulletproof/butter blend, goats milk, regular milk, oat, none of it gives me that 'Coffee' flavour I'd expect at very least from a basic Dandelion coffee. If you REALLY like cheaper sugary flavoured things like Mokka latte or frappe, you may enjoy this, if you genuinely like good tasting coffee and try to have a non caff, then I'd advise avoid. Worst part is there is no refund or part refund on this item so I'm going to waste £20 AND the product itself.. Maybe my chickens will enjoy it in the compost.
