Definitely not in kitchen, please. Most air fresheners have been found to emit toxic volatile organic compounds that pose a serious threat to health in the long-term. I wouldn't use air fresheners anywhere at home. If you still want to buy this, limit its usage, restrict it to the bathroom, and most importantly, think twice before buying such products.

Where do I tear the small packets

Tear it from the top. Also instructions regarding tearing and regarding the usage mention on the packet. please follow instructions.

can we use it it in bed room

Initially for two days or so, the smell is quiet strong. So, while short exposure like bathroom, is pleasant, in the berdroom it may cause headache or discomfort. Also, the choice is very personal. You can put it in the bedroom and see, if you can't tolerate, put it in the bathroom. Vaise Bhi, the smell barely lasts one week
