Cookies 'N Cream mix by Angel Specialty Products [3 LB]

This is one of the best tasting drink mixes I think I’ve ever purchased. It is by no means lo-cal but for a special treat it in just yummy. I make it for my grandchildren and had them guess what the flavor was...each immediately shouted out Oreo cookies. So there you have it...great treat.

Our family loves loves this drink mix! It is very easy to use. We just add the mix, some milk and ice, then blend it, add some Boba if desired and you have a tea house drink in the comfort of your own home! Yum!

What I expected

This flavor tastes exactly as what it says it is. On point, i use this in my cafe shop for frappes. My customers go crazy for it. I get almost 18 16oz cups from one 3lb bag. This is a great product and great value for money

If you love Boba king get this!!! This is the brand they use. I save so much money making my own! It tastes amazing & so easy to make!

First off, the recipes shown on the back call for “2 scoops” of this powder to be added to all 16 oz drinks. Where’s this so called scooper or how many cups or ounces is it so I can measure this with measuring cups? Without including a scooper sized to the recipes, how in the world is anyone going to know how much is needed? Second issue.. I guesstimated the amount of powder to add to a coffee drink and the mix tastes terrible. I order this type of drink from Kidd Coffee in Cincinnati and it’s phenomenal - they must be using a different brand - because this one is disgusting.

Angel Cookies ‘N Cream mix is an artificially colored brown powder that can be blended with ice and milk (or water) to make a frozen frappe drink, or stirred into milk (or water) and poured over ice for an iced drink. The recipe calls for 1/2 cup of powder per 16 oz. drink, though nutritional information on the package is only for 1/4 cup serving. So the calories, sugar and saturated fat numbers are double what’s listed if consuming the 16 oz. drink. Per the frappe directions, I blended 1/2 cup of the mix with 5 oz. milk and 14 oz. ice. The consistency is thick and creamy, and the frappe has a definite cookies and cream flavor. It tastes artificial and overly sweet to me, but sugary drinks aren’t part of my regular diet. I didn’t expect health food, but this is nutritionally worse than expected with so much sugar and saturated fat, artificial ingredients and chemicals. Without the added milk, 1/2 cup of mix has 16g of saturated fat (76% DV), 38g of sugar, 374 calories while lacking much nutritional value. For a drink that just tastes okay to me, I can’t justify adding the calories, sugar, additives and almost a day’s worth of saturated fat for a drink with nary any nutritional worth. But that’s a personal choice. The frappe texture is good and this mimics a cookies and cream flavor, but it’s junk food that just tastes okay at best. 3 stars. Made in the USA.
