Amazing lens for amateur photographers!
This product is the most budget AND we'll made tele lens. DO NOT BUY IF... 1. You dont know how to manually adjust shutter speed and iso on your camera, because the aperture is tied directly into how far your zooming and it will not work on camera AUTOMATIC modes. But I have snapped some beatifull pictures with it.

Very disappointed recieved used broken merchandise.
This item did not work with my Nikkon D3300. Im not sure why? The package looks like it's from 2000. It was taped closed with scotch tape. There is no doubt this item is used.

4 stars at $54 and understanding what it is
For what it is, a fun lens, it is 4 stars. On an absolute scale is is 1 start. Fringing is awful (that purple you see), hard to use, low quality all around. Pointless tripod mount (it is so light compared to the camera). Terrible bag. But if you have something that'll correct the pictures, patience, an appreciation for fun but low quality lenses, maybe a 100,000 ND filter on a 77mm adapter, you could get sun pictures showing sunspots. Sure I got 1 out of 10 initially of everything I tried, but it was a good test of my tripod. It does help to have a camera with a viewscreen (D750). It is mostly metal and glass. Knowing what to expect going in, and having the tools (tripod, software, sunny day, patient spouse, ND filter (no longer in 77mm, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CX1NPSRM, surprisingly good), I'm pretty happy. I could even hand hold (without the neutral density filter of course) and once in a great while get a mostly focused picture of dogs (very thin band in focus, not super sharp, but fun). Will it replace my lovely 70-200 f/4? No way. Will I still get a 150-600 or 150-500 some day? Surely. But those are north of 4 figures and this was $53.60. So 4 stars.

It all falls down at the mount
I was willing to give this lens a shot. Yes, it’s low end and manual focus and slow as a turtle - but I was able to overlook all that. The build quality is okay-ish for the price. The image has (as expected) chromatic aberration. Where it all falls apart, though, is the super cheap and flimsy mount ring that they put on it. It is absolutely terrible. Want to frame a shot on a tripod? Go for it - and then your frame is completely different once the weight of the camera makes the plastic bend. Need to focus? Good luck! You can’t even turn the ring without the picture jumping around wildly. If it had a better (dare I even say metal) mount ring the experience would be loads better - but as is with the one it comes with it’s frustrating at best. I left two stars because I was able to pull some semi-ok pics handheld (with the requisite lack of stellar focus that handheld will get you). The attached photos are using it that way. On a tripod, though, it’s pretty much an exercise in futility. I didn’t even bother including those.

Budget friendly zoom shots, get what you pay for
meh, its okay, pretty grainy photos unless you get pretty close which kind of defeats the purpose. Kind of has a hazy look to it which looks kind of cool sometimes. But its not really desireable. Okay but I usually leave it at home now unless going for gators. also i'm amateur at best, so others might get better photos out of it

Fun and value for money
Simply, I never write reviews on Amazon and I am the most sceptical person when it comes quality of products. I wanted to leave a review for this lens as it is fun and value for money! Granted, it is not anywhere near as good as a "branded" lens, but it does not have the price tag to match. For 60 odd notes, I got decent photos, had fun manually zooming, while getting used to my camera settings and was left feeling completely satisfied with my purchase. Build quality is good. At 800mm, the focus is not crystal clear; would not expect it to be for £60! But the image taken is clearly displayed and you can see what subject you are looking at. I am satisfied so much that I will now not purchase a "600mm branded" lens as the Benoison 420_800mm lens is clear enough for my needs and exceptional value for money. It was well worth my gamble purchasing this lens and has saved me a fortune not buying a branded item. For £60 -70 what you got to lose? A few quid if you ain't happy. But you might just have fun and enjoy this lens like I did...

Idéale pour photographe amateur.
Un peut lourd mais bien costaux, faut un pied sinon réglage plus compliqué .

Okay for its price point.
Zoom function is a bit awkward in that it does not slide very smooth.
