KONG Belly Flops, Octopus

I love this octopus and so do my dogs. We had one when my second dog was small and she loved it then. The two dogs played with it so much tugging and chewing it was just flat with no stuffing in the end, about a year ago I chucked it.I bought a new one last week and both dogs wanted it and the bossy dog managed to get it as usual. She chewed the black loop on the top until she got it off and pulled some stuffing out but I know she loves this toy so I pulled out a little more stuffing, got my sewing machine out and sewed across the top lots and lots of times. Octopus now looks like he has short hair but she can't get the stuffing out now. It's still her favourite toy by miles and if it ever gets destroyed again I will buy another.Highly recommended

Whilst the KONG Belly Flops Octopus looks really good and feels like it should be robust and hard-wearing. It's a shame attention to detail during manufacturing was not observed, either that or the Q&A department is lacking. The seams on my item have come undone with it being barely two months old. The dog has hardly used it, it was sat in a draw awaiting repairs, which were complete before being returned to the dog for it to come un-stitched at another seam. I'd suggest the seams are double or even triple stitched to avoid this in newer iterations of the product.

Had high Hope's for this toy! Unfortunately this is it within an hour of my 7 month old pup having it!!! Hes managed to get a direct hole straight to the stuffing and it's been taken off him and ready for the bin already :( bought this as he was destroying his other toys and swallowing the stuffing, hoped this would last him a while and I wouldn't have to worry about him swallowing fluff for a while!

It is a lovely jolly pink octopus but not the strength quality you would expect from a Kong branded dog toy. Our dog had ripped it open in minutes. The material itself is tough but the stitching was utterly inadequate. Heaven knows where the squeeker ended up after it was pulled out.I returned mine for a refund. If you have a gentler dog who doesn't have the inane ability to destroy practically every toy you buy them they will probably love this toy it just wasn't up to the challenge with mine.

My terrier loves his octopus, takes it to the beach every day. I throw it in the sea, where it floats and spins and he has great fun trying to grab a leg, he then carries it all the way home. It has a few teeth marks in its belly but is holding up well apart from that. However, I do take it away when we get home otherwise he'd soon tire of it and probably pull it apart. Just bringing it out for walks and playtime makes it a real treat. I've ordered the lobster now as a back up should octopus get swept away

Bought this for its durability because my dog destroys all toys within days, sometimes hours of purchase. Oh dear! He’d gnarled the seams in a day and succeeded in ripping a hole in the fabric after two. I am disappointed and also owe my son £5 because I said Kong toys were supposed to be almost indestructible.

Good quality and was our dog’s favorite toy. To be fair this was octopus #3. A bit of determined chewing would eventually tear apart the legs but well worth the money. I would have classed him as a moderate chewer.

Out of all the toys my dogs have, for some reason they will not touch this. It’s now 4 months old and still looking pristine. I have 4 small savage woofies. It’s a lovely toy and I really recommend....think my woofies are spoilt!
