Used about 5 times and they aren't expanding back out.
I've used these on 5 holsters now and they are already starting to get smooshed. I was hoping to use these for a while but may have to scrap them after a couple more uses.

Good value for the money

Good starter foam maybe
Foam Melts even when the .080 Kydex is not even hot enough to form. If you do put it in a press with hot Kydex it is t firm enough to get good detail.

The positive reviews are wrong.
This foam is not up to par. Anything over 250 degrees will leave permanent impressions in the foam, and anything closer to 300 degrees will split the foam along kydex workpiece corners and edges. It's also extremely difficult to get good definition in any 3D workpiece using this foam for some reason, whether it's due to the foam being too hard or due to the 1.5" thickness, I can't tell. Add to that the fact it was shipped just wrapped up in brown paper and was already horribly deformed when delivered and you get one unhappy customer. Only reason it's getting 2 stars from me is that it was (barely) able to hobble it's way through forming two sheets of kydex just BARELY well enough for the sidecar pistol holster I bought it to make. Still not satisfactory, but I'll settle for it until I can get some real kydex forming foam. Don't waste your money on this garbage.

Ripped first use
Upon molding my first part the foam ripped around the edges of the molded part. The wild was only 3/4” deep so this is pretty disappointing. Would not buy from them again.

CONTRARY TO THE POSITIVE REVIEWS...
...this product was not up to the task. Product info states it's good up to 300deg. F. Maybe so, but most kydex molding is above 300 deg. My project was at 320 using .08 kydex and the foam melted and split at the outline of the mold leaving a permanent impression of the mold outline. This was the first project using it and it is now unusable on one side. I pre-heated the foam before compressing. I tried to include a picture but the "add photo" function isn't working. I'll be looking for foam with a working temp above 300.
