I’m always excited to try new tea blends and this herbal mix from TeeLux was a nice find! At first I thought this could have a similar flavor profile to one of my favorite teas which is the Good Earth original, also a spiced tea with orange and cinnamon. This blend is much different however with strong notes of licorice and ginger, darker and warm citrus and light sweetness from Stevia. I think it is interesting that the picture appears to show a lemon (which would fit the profile well) yet that is not an ingredient listed for this tea. So while I was expecting more cinnamon, more spice bite, this was a much different profile albeit still a nice blend. As for the tea bags, I usually avoid them for fear of consuming microplastics. The manufacturer claims they are biodegradable, “free of bleach, free of wrapper, free of adhesive.” So yeah, I don’t know if these are actually free from plastic and therefore that might be one concern I have with this product. It is a product of China as well which isn’t my first choice for herbal tea, though it is possibly the best source for green and black. With so many highly rated reviews I thought this tea would be worth a try and yeah, I’m pleased with it. Loose leaf would be highly preferred but I’m sure that’s a deal breaker for some lazy consumers. My household are all fans of licorice tea so I was excited to try this blend. It’s not as spicy smelling or tasting as I’m used to with the tea I buy. The 80 tea bags are just bags, not on those string things and all together in 1 bag. If they had strings it would be difficult getting 1 out because the strings would tangle so that was good thinking. This is a pleasant cup of tea and I bet it would help a sore throat with the clove which is numbing, the orange and grapefruit with the citrus, and the ginger which is an immune booster. My wife used 2 bags in 1 cup to make it stronger and enjoyed the tea better that way.

I got this unaware that it has stevia. I basically saw 'licorice' and grabbed it since I love licorice tea. The addition of clove and cinnamon was just a bonus. I was not happy to see it has stevia because I don't like stevia nor sweetened tea - luckily you can't taste the sweetness from the stevia at all. I actually couldn't taste anything BUT the licorice tea, which is just fine for me! I got it to enjoy as licorice tea, and nothing else. So, five stars from me for a strong licorice flavor. I guess if you wanted the whole package and to taste the other ingredients, don't get it.

This tea provides a nice, warm tones of licorice, ginger, and cinnamon, but is unfortunately ruined by the terrible aftertaste of stevia. The use of stevia to sweeten this tea is a bit difficult to find, with the listing advertising the lack of sugar, but failing to clearly disclose the use of stevia to sweeten except for within the ingredients list. In fact, the description and title pushes the "natural sweetness" of licorice so hard that you'd think it didn't use any additional sweeteners. Personally, I am quite sensitive to the odd sweetness provided by stevia, so I immediately noticed that the sweet aftertaste wasn't from the natural flavor of licorice, but a sugar alternative. This tea would have been a solid 5-star caffeine free tea, but unfortunately the otherwise decent flavor of the tea bags is ruined by stevia.

I'm a big fan of licorice tea so I was very pleased to be able to try this. It has a good resealable bag, with an expiration date of January 1st 2027 The tea bags do not have strings attached. This has a rich licorice flavor. I didn't need to sweeten the tea at all but that's probably because stevia is in it. The ingredients are licorice, ginger, clove, cinnamon, stevia, natural orange and grapefruit oil This will be a great tea to drink in the evening, if you don't want to have caffeine at the end of the day.

I love it! The licorice spice is right up in your nose and in your mouth with each sip. For any licorice lover out there I think you'll really enjoy this tea. Easy to follow directions on the bag with recommended temperature and duration for steeping. Very minimal if any tea leaf debris in the cup afterwards.

I was pleasantly surprised to taste this licorice spice tea. It is a blend of different flavors. I don’t think I would have guessed that the predominant ingredient is licorice. I could taste and smell the ginger, cloves and cinnamon more than the licorice. The tea is good with a little honey but it’s not necessary because it’s sweet without it. It actually has stevia in it which gives it a sweet taste. I think it’s a great after dinner tea because it seems to help settle my stomach and it has no caffeine.

This tea is lovely. Slightly "spicy" and the stevia leaves give a hint of sweetness. The instruction stated to use one bag per 6-8 oz water, but I found 4 oz per bag worked better for me.
