I ordered both the black and white versions of this book to compare and was immediately impressed by the sturdy, eye-catching cover and the sheer number of pages to color.Experience & VarietyThis is calming, fun, and just a bit mysterious. The variety is great, and part of the appeal is not knowing what you are creating until the image emerges. Looking at a finished page without the numbers, I would have a hard time guessing the subject before coloring it. Watching subtle shifts in color take shape is surprisingly satisfying.Paper & UsabilityThe paper could be better. Even with a scratch sheet underneath, I had some bleed-through across double pages, although marker choice plays a role. A couple of thick, removable pages at the back would help. My other small knock is the overuse of black fill around the edges. Sometimes it is 25 percent of the image, which means burning through black markers faster than I would like.Relaxation FactorThis is wonderfully relaxing. We took it on a recent cruise and returned to it multiple times, swapping between the black and white versions. Both were equally enjoyable to watch come to life.Value & RecommendationFor the amount of content, this is a great value. The black background makes colors pop, and the binding feels durable enough for long-term use. I would recommend it to anyone, whether you are an avid colorist or just want a peaceful way to pass the time.Bottom LineA perfect pick for unwinding, traveling, or sharing with friends. Just keep an extra black marker handy.

This book is so much fun! To be honest, I recently went through a very bad breakup and I was desperately looking for ways to take my mind off of everything that had been going on. This book is so cool. I love that you don't know what the image is until you're done with the page (unless you look in the back of the book, but I don't!). It definitely distracts my mind and puts me at ease. I definitely am calm and mindful when I'm doing it. I would recommend this to anyone! I'm definitely going to buy more from this same series!

I simply love it! Is so fun and relaxing! Excellent for when I want to color but don’t want to decide what colors to use. Also, I love the mystery part and revealing the design at the end. I like to take pictures of the process too.

Love the coloring book, great way to pass time and relax. Markers bleed through the pages and then you can’t see the directions on the next page.

The coloring book is good for the price, but the pages are thin and if using most markers, it will bleed through. The markers will also bleed outside of the shape you’re coloring.The book does have a strong newspaper ink smell, and I wish some of the pictures didn’t have so much black borders to fill in. I went through a lot of markers to fill it in. The ink from the numbers will also mix with the marker that you’re coloring with and will change the outcome. I tried using crayons and pencils, but didn’t like how they worked on the page.Overall, this is a decent book with some fun pictures, but I wish the quality were better - even if it meant getting half the number of pictures for better quality. I also wish the book came with the colors of markers or pencils or crayons needed. It could be user error, but I haven’t been able to get any of the pictures to pop like the pictures in the description. But it is a very nice distraction and is calming.

I am in love with this book. I have done other pixel coloring (by different authors) and they don’t turn out good. I love the quality of pages in this book, and the paper used is really nice. I use alcohol markers, so the balck pages hide if it bleeds around a little bit. You will always be able to tell what you’ve colored at the end. This is definitely worth the price. I have bought the whole set as well.

I just received this book for Mother’s Day. I’m excited to get started. I have used colour by numbers before but this is different all to the good. I love the idea of one sided and being black paper so colours bleed through.I myself love using coloured pencils so that won’t be a problem. Also a bit like dot lines & spirals, you can’t make out the picture so it’s a mystery up to the end.Even though the pictures are reasonably simple the pixel like squares,circles and diamonds make it seem so much more detailedEven though I havn’t started yet I know I’m going to love every minute of this and there’s so many Even though the pictures are reasonably simple the pixel like squares,circles and diamonds make it seem so much more detailed to colour. Tolles Buch in sehr guter Qualität. Ich finde die Qualität und auch die verschiedenen Bilder wirklich toll. Man kann super dabei entspannen. Bei meinen Markern muss ich allerdings eine Folie zwischen die Seiten legen, da diese sonst durchdrücken, meine Freundin muss das bei ihren allerdings nicht machen. Kauft euch als kleiner Tipp für diese Aufgabe sehr viel schwarze Stifte :). Ich finds einfach toll, vorallem auch die Tatsache, dass man über die Newsletter immer mal kostenlose Bilder bekommt :).
