San Martin SN0118 Automatic Watch for Men, 40mm Sapphire Crystal Dive Watches 316L Stainless Steel 200M Water Resistant

I loved this watch! So did a guy my wife and I met in the Virgin Islands. He was really cool so I gave him the watch before we left. He was stoked! I ended up buying another one when we got back to the states! Love this one too! Real nice automatic dive watch. I spend a lot of time in the water. It does what it’s supposed to do. Very precise and super cool looking! Definitely recommend!!

I own a fairly varied watch collection of moderately priced timepieces ranging from Omega, Bulova, Invicta, Citizen and even Redline! Now I own a San Martin - so here is my review. I was pleasantly surprised with the excellent quality workmanship and finish of this diver watch. I purchased it as a "Happy watch" as an alternative to the more conventional designs and traditional color choices. I bought it specifically for scuba diving and water sports and had the opportunity to put it through its paces on a recent 10-day diving trip. This watch performed as expected with absolutely no issues. After diving consistently at around 60 feet there were zero issues with waterproofing. (It is after all, tested to 660 feet) so 60 feet is a no brainer for this puppy! It is great value for the $ and if you buy one, expect plenty compliments! The watch is a "looker and a reliable performer." On the down side, there are only two things I will mention: 1. I personally disliked the strap it came with, and changed it out immediately. I thought the strap color "fought" with the bezel color, and I just plain didn't like it. 2. The date window is impossible to read since it is located at the darker outer edge of the dial, so the date markings are actually darker. Had the date window been white, it would have been easier to read on land. (But of course, being able to read the date underwater is completely unnecessary). All in all, this watch represents excellent value. It is thoughtfully designed and well engineered. Being an 'automatic,' the watch is quite heavy and feels and performs accurately like a higher quality watch costing much more. I highly recommend San Martin watches for the reasons stated, and I am confident you will enjoy yours as much as I am enjoying mine.
