Why is the price so high for 2.5 lbs? What has changed?

No clue. I switched to orijen, my little chihuahua mix loves it. Read the ingredients for both brands

I didn't realize when I switched to the 10 lb bag, it switched from the 8+ to the regular chihuahua food for my 15 year old. What's the difference?

The only difference is where the product was package that some outlets have different packaging than others the dog food is the same I've used both and it all depends on where I can get the better price I always get a different package. I have 2 chihuahuas the same age. In short different suppliers different packaging same kibble
