Tl;dr: I've been on this kind of supplement for a while due to PCOS and switched brands due to how sketchy the other brand is. No issues/side effects/concerns yet, but I plan to update this if there are any. Only doing one scoop per day right now to assess how my body responds. I've been using a myo-inositol and d-chiro inositol blend for quite a while prior to getting this brand. I was originally using one sold by Micro Ingredients, but the shadiness was just too much for me to risk it just to save a few bucks (claiming it's lab tested but customer service is non-existent so you can't even get proof, lawsuits against the company, finding a stray textile strand in the product, etc.), so I decided to just get this one to try instead. I received it on 3 April and started using it a couple of days after, when the last of my other one ran out. My review is going to have comparisons. Reasons I take this: I have PCOS, which comes with all the fun things like: irregular periods, hirsutism, difficulty losing weight, carb cravings, acne, the fun stuff. This type of product has helped with that immensely, as the hirsutism was showing in spots on my breasts and on my jawline/face/neck. I've also got the fun bouts of acne along my jawline that just randomly sprout up and go away (as they do). Taste: I've noticed that this brand does not have an aftertaste to it. You can tell that something is different about the water (not quite bitter on the back of the tongue, just different, if that makes sense), but there's nothing that really makes it taste sweet, salty, bitter, nothing like that. The other brand, however, had a sweet aftertaste, which makes me think they were adding other things to it, but I don't know. Maybe different sourcing, but still suspicious. Dosing/serving size: On the previous brand, I was double-dosing to get the results I wanted (I was able to do one dose a day for the first few months, but then the hirsutism was flaring again, so I had to start doing two), but this one I'm only doing one scoop a day right now to assess how effective it is. If I wind up needing to increase doses, I'll update my review. I've been using this brand since ~5 April and it's now 19 April. Side effects: I haven't noticed any side effects yet. I do know that (at least with the previous brand) when I was taking two doses, I would get nauseous, so I started taking it around the time I'd eaten and that solved it. This one I've taken without food (a single dose) and been fine. If I have to start taking two doses and experience nausea, then I will update my review for that. Ingredients: No complaints about them so far, seems good. I haven't reached out to the company yet to see if they provide lab results, but if they do, I'll update the review for that and their customer service. Mood: Haven't noticed any changes yet. It's 19 April as of writing this review, and I don't know that my mood will improve, as it didn't on the previous one, either (that I recall). We'll see. Energy: No changes so far. Could be due to my lifestyle, but my energy levels haven't been great for a long time. We'll see. PCOS issues: now, with the previous supplement, I noticed it improved my issues, but didn't necessarily stop them (like the hirsutism, it didn't stop it, it just slowed it down). Ovulation was normal on that one (I didn't track it, I just went by the physical cues). We'll see if my cycle stays regular with this new one and how the hirsutism and other issues do. Cravings and acne I haven't seen a change in yet, but time will tell. I'm hoping I don't need to double-dose (this brand is expensive), but I guess I'll find out soon enough if I need to up it. I will also note that I've started an additional supplement called ALA (Alpha Lipoic Acid) with added biotin, so I'm not JUST taking this one anymore, so please keep that in mind as well (I started it on 17 April). ALA is supposed to help with weight, egg quality, lower triglyceride levels, and lower glucose and insulin levels (if you look into this one to go along with your ovasitol, the R-isomer type (natural) is more recommended than the S-isomer type (synthetic) due to its bioavailability. I messed up and got one that's 50/50 (I didn't research it before I bought it), so that's where I'm at now lol), so they're supposed to be a power team together. According to what I've found online (thank you, PCOS Nutritionist Alyssa), when you combine inositol and ALA, there's improvement in your cycles, reduced androgens (a hormone; the most common androgen is testosterone), anti-Mullerian hormones (AMH) (plays a role in fetal development), BMI and insulin levels. If I haven't said it enough already in this review: we'll see. That's the tagline.

Wow. Hormonal Acne Gone, Food noise is GONE!
I recently discovered that I’m insulin resistant and I have a very bad relationship with food, my food noise has taken over my life for years and years. I went on Ozempic a few years ago and due to the insulin in the pen the food noise completely disappeared and I lost 50 pounds. I stopped taking it a year ago and I gained 30 pounds. All I would think about was food and my next meal and sugar and junk food. I was never satisfied. And I knew something was wrong either due to my PCOS or I was missing a supplement and I was exhausted and frankly desperate. I have access to wegovy but i didn’t want to retake it. And I honestly took it to ChatGPT and I was just researching what the hell i can do to end this cycle, and it recommended this supplement. At first I was skeptical, i was like “what do you mean a powder will stop my food noise?” but I’m on day 3 now and I’ve already lost a pound. I eat when I’m hungry and I can go to bed not obsessing over snacks or what I’m going to eat for breakfast. It has quite literally changed my life, I also have anxiety and a mood disorder and I’ve noticed this has also helped my moods a little bit. I’m not sure if it’s due to the fact that I don’t think about food 24/7 anymore or if it balanced out my hormones, but if you struggle with the same things I do, I wouldn’t hesitate by purchasing this. My doctor knew I had PCOS and insulin resistant for many years and yet she never told me about the supplement. I literally have never felt better. I’ve also joined a gym and mentally and physically I feel amazing. It doesn’t have a taste. I just mix a scoop in the morning with water and then the same in the evening absolutely fantastic 10 stars. *UPDATE* Cleared my stubborn back acne! I’ve been to numerous dermatologist for nearly a decade and nothings ever worked, this helped 2 weeks in!

Weird reaction initially, but now I love it.
2/6/23: I started taking ovasitol 2 days ago at the recommended dose of 4000mg daily. My PCOS symptoms have been getting worse recently and I wanted to give this a try since I’m doing everything the same as what worked in the past for PCOS that my doctor had prescribed with the exception of taking metformin (I moved and have to find a new provider who actually knows how to treat PCOS so I don’t have access to it right now and was hoping this would help in a similar fashion). I had a mild headache after my first dose but it subsided after a few hours. The next morning I woke up with a rash on my chest and neck. It wasn’t itchy, but I had a bunch of tiny red bumps that were uncomfortable to touch and gradually worsened throughout the day. I took the same dosage that second day because none of the research I had done mentioned a rash being a side effect but by the evening it had gotten worse and I ended up taking some Benadryl before bed because I was still trying to determine the cause of the rash. Adding ovasitol is the only change I can think of. It’s been about 20 hours since my last dose and the rash is clearing up (the attached photo is from about 12 hours after the last dose). After researching side effects even more I found some others also broke out with a rash. Some were able to lower the dosage and gradually build it up or just kept going on the normal dose and it eventually cleared up while for other people the rash continued to get worse until they stopped taking it. I’m really bummed that I had this reaction because it seems many people with PCOS have had really good responses to inositols. I’m still debating if I want to attempt to take a lower dose to see if it helps and risk the rash flaring up again once it finally subsides completely. Update 6/25/23: The rash took about a week to subside. And after a month or two I decided to give it another try but start with a very small dose and see if I can work my way up. I started taking 1/16 tsp once a day and gradually was able to work up to the full recommended dose without any more rash issues. I did notice mild to moderate headaches the days that I increased the dosage, but they subsided after a day or 2 until the dosage increased again. I’ve been taking the full dosage for a few months now without any rash and no more headaches. My periods which have been irregular for as long as I can remember regulated within a month so it definitely seems to be doing something positive. I’m ordering more. So if anyone has a bad reaction initially, try to start with a small dosage and gradually increase. Wish it stated this on the packaging. Update 8/13/25: I have been taking this for 2 years now without any further issues. It has made a huge difference helping me to regulate my period and has seemed to help with other PCOS related symptoms as well. It is completely tasteless and dissolves well in hot or cold drinks. I have recommended this to several friends dealing with similar issues and they have had good results as well. If you’re on the fence, it is worth a try.

HONEST REVIEW!
THROUGH HONEST REVIEW ! I hope this message is useful for anyone on a TTC journey. A little back story. I learned of potentially having PCOS of Feb 2025 when me and my partner moved forward through my new OB for our fertility journey. The premom app below shows how my cycles have been since March of 2025. The first container I took was Ovasitol I purchased that April 23 of 2025. What I was doing before hand was taking a hormonal balance tea that I do not have listed here because it’s from an herbalist name Krystal you can find on Instagram or Facebook. I believe her teas which I had the baby boom tea and progesterone risings tea is what made me fall pregnant right before moving forward with fertility treatment around the same date as the ovasitol I purchased. I only took it for 3 days then stopped when I found out I was pregnant. Well unfortunately that pregnancy did not last long for I wound up miscarrying labor day week of 2025. I was so depressed and sad to say the least. So once I was miscarrying I started taking the Ovasitol and I believed it helped regulate my cycle after miscarrying (you can see from March up until May in my premom app where my cycles picked up). Fast forward I fell pregnant AGAIN and found out late Aug. So I literally only had two cycles before falling pregnant again. Well this pregnancy ended in unfortunately another miscarriage end of Sept. I was sad but not as sad as my first one. I do believe the Ovasitol helped me to say the least! Oct 2 (as I was actively miscarrying) I purchased the Pregnositol. Since then I have not fell pregnant but I do believe it helped with regulating my cycles really well. (As you see where my cycles picked up on my premom app). I decided to try Myo-Folate recently I purchased that in March. Then you can see that my last cycle was 36 days and I was so hopeful Myo Folate got me pregnant only to have my cycle come. Now i’m currently 2 days shy of my cycle coming (today is the 18th of May suppose to come the 20th). I can agree with others this product definitely delayed my cycle and i’m hoping it’s not the case this time but we will see. I got this product specifically because of the folate so I won’t have synthetic folic acid but seems like it’s almost impossible to find just folate anywhere so I thought I hit a jackpot. Overall it hasn’t caused any drastic changes. I have lost weight but it’s also probably because I drink herbal teas that suppress my appetite along with myo inositol. I will update if I do fall pregnant this cycle. I stopped the other two a little while back. If I do not fall pregnant this cycle I think I will use the last two products as they seem to keep my cycles regular and I truly believed Ovasitol got me pregnant without trying (was letting my body heal).

Love it!
In my experience, Ovasitol has been a great addition to my daily routine. It’s very easy to take, dissolves well, and doesn’t have an unpleasant taste. I also really like how much product comes in the container because it lasts a long time. I’ve had a very positive experience with it and I’m happy with my purchase. I would definitely buy it again!

It can help for some issues.
I've taken this off and on for years mostly for keeping my cycle regular (pcos) it DOES help that but I found if I take it for weeks on end it can cause me skin issues snd weight gain. So I really only take it one week a month. You're experiences my vary of course. I have had doctors seem conflicted if it's really needed or actually does anything but I can 100% claim it did help me regulate a bit.

I highly recommend this!
I started taking myonistol on my doctor's recommendation for help with egg quality and infertility. I prefer this brand over the pills because it's easier to take. I just mix a scoop with a glass of water twice a day and use that to take my other vitamins and supplements. You can't even taste it. I did start with half the dose for the first week or two until my body adjusted to it. I had mild gastrointestinal upset and a light headache for the first few days, but that went away completely. I've been taking it for 3 months now, and I haven't conceived yet, but I wasn't really expecting it to be this miracle product. I'm in my 40s after all. What I didn't expect, was for this product to help so much with easing my OCD, anxiety, brain fog, and period pain. I have been virtually period pain free (that's a miracle for me, as I have debilitating periods) and felt more mentally stable since I started taking this product. I'm sleeping better and have more energy, too. My doctor suspects that I have lean PCOS, and I'm definitely in early perimenopause. I have been recommending this product to my friends, and a couple of them have experienced positive results as well. For $1 a day, this product is by far the most valuable supplement in my arsenal.

It helped a lot with my inflammation and period
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Quality and Easy to Use I’ve been using Ovasitol consistently, and I’ve had a great experience with it. The powder dissolves easily in water and has almost no taste, making it simple to add to my daily routine. The quality is excellent, and the container lasts a long time. I’m very happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient and high-quality inositol supplement.
