To make the story short after listening to my problem with my voice & discussing what I already tried, they suggested that I see a laryngologist, which is a doctor that specializes in treating the voice. I immediately made an appointment & yes the vocal chords were red and inflamed from acid reflux and interesting I never felt reflux in my stomach and I also had a polyp on the left vocal fold from over straining my voice for a long period of time. I had to remove that polyp and imagine 2 weeks of voice rest (Guess what I did it ) after being quiet no talking no whispering I started talking slowly and what a difference my voice was back full swing. I would give them great feedback just for be so helpful & understanding. So don’t think whenever you have voice problems I will take a magic remedy or I will go to the best vocal coaches and I will be fine in just a day, because I was running around to voice teachers I was trying to say yes im better because I did not know that there is other help. If your voice is not in healthy shape like a polyp or acid you will struggle using your voice. Im not sure if steroids is an option in such a time. but anyway who wants to use steroids all the time. My point is try to diagnose your problem if one thing doesn't help try other things go to a doctor to take a look at your chords then if everything is ok try natural stuff. I must say now when my voice is ok not damaged (I hope it stays this way) whenever I feel a little hoarse I take this product and it helps me a lot. It gives me the ringing feeling in my nose I can feel the voice in my mouth. It feels slippery and it gets easier to bring up mucous. Also they gave my very helpful information regarding the kind of foods not to eat and some other great tips. I never knew what diet can do to your voice. But avoiding certain foods really makes a difference when it comes to the voice. I got educated before a performance I stay away from certain foods and I realized some foods can be so bad that you can't open your mouth I hope they would list all that information or write some articles about it. I was used to using sprays & found it hard in the beginning to change my habit from spray to drops, but I find that these drops have a much more lasting effect on the voice than sprays. I totally believe the 1-star reviews, but remember that every person on earth has a different body (even identical twins), so not every product will work for every person. I've been a singer for 40 years. My daughter is a professional singer. My wife is an absolutely terrible singer, but even she has found a benefit of this stuff - it clears phlegm better than any medicine I've ever used. My daughter was sick and came through town a couple of months ago on her way to a gig in Dallas. I let her have some of this, and she started buying it. My song started buying it. I buy it. This is not a placebo effect. It works for everybody in my gene pool, and it even works for my wife who (if I didn't mention it) is an absolutely terrible singer. I ingest this stuff about 3 hours before I have to sing. It clears up the top end of my voice making falsetto a lot clearer. It also seems to have the added benefit of helping with vocal fatigue. I don't gig 5 nights a week anymore, so when I do sing for 4 hours, sometimes I can't even talk the next day.
