This set is perfect for the warmer weather, when only a lightweight quilt is needed. In the early Spring I pair it with a sheet-blanket, which - as you would expect - is a blanket that is almost as thin as a sheet. Because the nights are still cold, I continue to use our flannel sheets with the other pieces, so it’s plenty warm but not too hot. On average, I launder the bedding once a week. I check the weather forecast for the week beforehand, and then layer my bedding accordingly. I’ll be switching over to the Summer sheets soon, and likely be losing the sheet blanket too. I always launder my new linens before I put them on the bed. They lose a lot (if not all) of the packaging wrinkles after that process and look great. It’s a good idea to keep the washer and dryer temps on the cooler side to avoid fading, shrinking or other damage to the fabric. Think “knits.” The colors and design lend a very zen vibe to the bedroom, which is exactly what I wanted, and the fabric is soft to the touch. Overall, the set is a great value for the cost. I would definitely recommend getting it. UPDATE: So, fast-forward a year and I should comment on the fact that despite being extra careful about how I launder this comforter, the embroidery stitching on the top of it has detached from it in many places. I guess it proves that you get what you pay for. If the manufacturer is willing to sell it at such a low price, then there must have been some cut corners somewhere.

The coverlet and pillows are soft to the touch and the color is beautiful and as pictured. We have a split king bed and while I wished it were a bit longer it still fits and looks very nice. I love the pattern and the colors match our room great. Would buy again!

Lovely comforter. It is light and warm at the same time, it is quite thin but it has been perfect. It's silky yet soft and warm we love it. It washed up great!! Because it a bit thinner i can wash it and dry it so easily which is important since its white and in a child's room who lives on a farm! I asked my daughter if she would like to get a bigger fuller comforter for winter and she didn't! She wanted to keep this one, she loves it so much. We added a fleece blanket under this one and it is keeping her warm and happy. Would buy it again for sure!

A) I own this set. I have the comforter set and the duvet set and a quilt. Yep, I fell in love at first touch. B) The fabric is to die for. It's so soft and luxurious. I am so incredibly picky when it comes to fabrics. My skin is ultra sensitive. This is luxury at it's best. For the price - this is a complete steal. C) Because I love all the sets I own - I decided to go with the Coverlet. For those who don't know, a coverlet is like a comforter sized quilt. It's meant to be light weight. Something I use during the warmer months. D) The sizing is great. I did order a size bigger only because I love the draped effect and my bed sits higher than most. E) I've owned other comforters with ruffles - and they end up looking wrinkly and simply a hot mess - but not this baby! Put this on your bed straight away or just after washing - and within minutes it looks like a dream. F) This thing is well made - my cats play on my bed and scratch up a storm - but this sucker has held up all winter/spring so far. G) Let's talk about the color. The color is white. IT's not cream, it's white. HOWEVER, I do own a set of sheets that are STARK WHITE - it makes this looks not so white. Make sense? I can assure you that the set is white and in most circumstances it'll look to white to everyone - except up against a stark white anything. Overall - for the price - this is a steal. Love the accent pillow too...now I have 3, haha. Makes the bed look extra happy!

As you can see by the photo I took, the print doesn’t cascade down the front/bottom of the bed. It’s pretty and very soft, but it also smells AWFUL, as do the pillow shams that came wrapped up in the bedspread do. Don’t know about the decorative pillows. You could reverse the direction of the bedspread, which only has about six inches of white at the other end, so that the pattern would cascade down, but then you’d be left with almost three feet of just plain white at the top, and the pattern part would start almost in the middle of the bed…didn’t try this as I knew I wouldn’t like it. I bought it because I thought it would coordinate well with the new shower curtain in the master bathroom (Redoing the entire master suite, hence the soon to be gone teal curtains, etc)…the sad thing is it DOES really coordinate well with the new shower curtain, but the placement of the pattern is just too weird for me. ALSO, if you care to read one more comment, it’s not really a high-end master suite looking set. Maybe for a guest room…it was over $100 when I bought it on Prime Day…today it says $66, which is probably about the right price. I didn’t see any other comments that mentioned the smell, and I didn’t love it enough to try and wash it to see if the smell came out. Will be returning.

I bought this quilt set to switch out with my winter comforter. I love purple, but I also wanted something to match with my mocha latte bedroom walls that wouldn't be too loud or frilly. I have not washed the quilt yet, so I don't know how it will hold up but so far, everything seems to be well-made and neatly stitched. I got the taupe/purple set, and I purchased lilac light-blocking panels elsewhere to match-- everything looks great. The quilt (coverlet, they are calling it) is thin and light but perfect for summer and probably okay for winter too if you add a blanket under it. The flowers only go about half way up the coverlet, so they are not too garish. One thing to keep in mind-- definitely measure your mattress situation to see how long you need your coverlet to be for how much coverage you want. We have a bed skirt and a pillow top queen mattress, so we have typically needed a King coverlet or quilt to get the amount of overhang that keeps the mattress/sheets from being exposed. Some of you may be able to get away with a full/queen. The king set is only available with king pillow shams, but we have standard pillows. No biggie, I just fold over the extra on the ends-- who keeps all those pillows on their bed for very long after buying a set like this anyway? Bottom line, this is a very nice set for the price, especially since it includes three throw pillows which are often sold separately elsewhere.

The sides are a little short for my liking, but we don’t use a bed skirt as we have two twin fully articulating mattresses and bed skirt won’t stay in place

I wanted a quilt that would fit on my King size bed and this one does. Yes it could have been a bit wider but its better than a lot that I had tried. I love the design of if. The flowers are to the bottom of the quilt so its not over powering. I painted my room blue and didnt want anyone saying, WOW, its a ''blue room'', I wanted if soft so having the design not over power the whole bed makes it look inviting.

Huge size but great for my large queen ensemble. Little disappointed with the colour as Amazon's picture looked white and the coverlet is cream. Still keeping as the price was great.
