De’Longhi Classic Espresso Machine – One Month of Daily Use
I’ve had this De’Longhi Classic espresso machine for approximately one month, and I prepare three coffees every day: two for myself and one for my husband. It uses ground coffee because it doesn’t have a built-in grinder. The portafilter is very easy to fill, insert and remove, and I can choose between a single or double espresso. I mainly use the double button because I prefer a slightly larger cup. One of my favorite things is how quickly it heats up. In my experience, it is ready to brew in just a few seconds. The espresso tastes rich and develops a beautiful crema, while the pressure gauge lets me watch the extraction pressure. It also includes an adjustable milk frother. I’m still learning how to get the exact texture I want, but since I normally drink my coffee black, the espresso quality is what matters most to me. The portafilter and removable parts are also easy to clean. After using it every day for one month, I’m very happy with this machine.

Easy to use, heats up quickly, and looks great on the counter
★★★★★ I’m very happy with my De’Longhi espresso machine. It makes rich, smooth espresso with excellent crema, and the coffee tastes much better than what I expected from a home machine. It is easy to use, heats up quickly, and looks great on the counter. The build quality feels solid, and cleaning is straightforward. I also like that I can make both espresso and milk-based drinks without too much effort. Overall, it’s a great machine for anyone who wants café-quality coffee at home without overcomplicating the process. Highly recommended.

This is my fourth attempt at getting an expresso maker that works properly
This is my 5th expresso maker I've returned in the last month. The reason I've returned everyone but one, which didn't work at all, was because they did not produce water at a temperature of 195 degrees F to 205 degrees F which is the optimal temperature for coffee extraction. I've done all the "preheating" suggestions. I've been drinking expresso for decades and I not what produces a good cup and what produces an inferior cup. The temperature of the water coming from the machine temps at between 164 degrees F an 178 degrees F, which is close to 25 degrees below recommended levels, which is totally unacceptable. As with all the other inferior expresso machines I've tried, I measure the water temperature coming directly from the machine, no portafilter or coffee grounds. Measuring the coffee temperatures with the coffee grounds you get a temperature of about 148 degrees F, which is basically lukewarm water, much of the coffee isn't extracted. Then I add half a shot of Irish cream which lowers the temperature even further. So, in desperation and utter frustration I decided to purchase a machine that offered temperature control. I saw this machine advertised temperature control and purchased it only to find the only temperature control it offers is suggestions to preheat the filter and coffee cup prior to extraction. There is no specific setting on the machine that adjusts temperature. IMO this is blatant false advertising. another pet peeve I have is none of these portafilters offer any way to keep the filter in when dumping grounds, which results in the filter continually falling out. Years ago i had a $59 expresso machine that had a small "latch" on the portafilter that would hold the filter and stop the need for one to hold the filter with one's thumb when dumping grounds. It also produced water at the optimum temp. and if I could find it again I' purchase it in a heartbeat instead of these expensive machines that don't work correctly. My advice to all of you who purchase a machine, make sure to check the temperature of the water coming directly from the machine because I feel it is a conspiracy among these expresso machine manufacturers, for whatever ridiculous reason, to provide the water from the machine at the less than optimum temperature which would provide you with the best cup of expresso or coffee or whatever. Will leet everyone know when I discover a machine that works the way it's supposed to.

Overall a great espresso machine, only issue is portafilter
This is the first time I bought an espresso machine and I’m loving it! It’s so convenient and cost efficient instead of buying lattes from the shops every day. The machine is light weight and compact. Also it’s very easy to setup. The espresso is prepared very quickly plus the taste and quality is amazing! The only issue I have with the machine is the Portafiler. The inside part of it is made of plastic. I’m sure it must be appropriate material for an espresso machine but I would always prefer to have stainless steel and I’m going to buy another portafilter. Overall I feel it’s a great purchase.

Great value on sale
So far have been very satisfied with this espresso machine. Coffee comes out frothy as it should and tastes really good. Frothing the milk also works well although it is loud. There are much more sophisticated and expensive machines out there, but if you can get this on sale it is all you need if you just want a small cup of espresso.

Such a Great Espresso Machine For My Start!
Delivery was on time. Packaging was great and no damage whatsoever. Unpacking showed the care and thought put into it. The machine is extremely easy to set up and I found the instructions very clear for startup. No problems in operating the DeLonghi Classic and all the functions worked exactly as advertised. Although this may be a lower tier machine when it comes to espresso machines, the quality of build is still outstanding and the value for my money is well worth it! The espresso is great every morning and a big thank you goes to DeLongi!

Issues After Only 4 Months & Poor Customer Support
I’m very disappointed with this machine after only 4 months of use. It no longer pushes water through the basket properly and seems to struggle under pressure, which causes the coffee to taste burnt. Support suggested it might be a scaling issue, so I purchased the official De'Longhi descaling solution and carefully followed the full descaling process, but it made no difference. Unfortunately, support has offered very little help beyond that suggestion. I’ve also tried using less coffee, skipping tamping, and thoroughly cleaning all components, yet the machine still doesn’t function the way it used to. It’s frustrating to experience these issues so soon, especially since my previous espresso machine (different brand) lasted for years before having any problems. I expected much better reliability and customer support from a machine this new.
