Necessary in pregnancy
Much better than folic acid, the active folate means that I could be sure my baby would get the nutrients it requires without any risk that my body couldn’t metabolise the folic acid. Baby scan at 12 weeks was all clear and so it did its job perfectly. Easy to swallow too.

Get the high iron from your midwife if you have low iron levels; These just don't pack the punch needed to get your iron levels back up. Maybe ok if you just want to maintain a level.
