only had the unit for 2-3 months and the system will not boot anymore. support is difficult to find and I'm still trying to get help on this item. Hope someone contacts me soon to resolve. support did reach out and offer a return and refund. I would have to pay for shipping it back.. until i complained about that, then they did offer to reimburse or provide shipping. not an ideal process. took about a week to work though the return process. not terrible. I feel like they wanted me to be a satisfied customer and were offering a fair process.

Perfect dual boot windows/linux gaming and dev board. Yep, you need to install an AX210 wifi/bt m2 E key if you want wireless stuffs. Yep, no ability to add sata hard drives for deep storage. Yep, only 2 M2 slots for nvme's. Yep, no ability to change the cooler. Yep, not a good amount of USB ports. For $380 its still 100% worth it. I have had 0 problems with this board, I currently boot windows 11 primary and dual boot into linux daily. This is super simple to setup and all works as needed. I paired this board with 96GB crucial sodimm kit for $180, set the speed to 5200mt/s in the bios, set a CO of -15. The fans are a bit goofy to control but you just need to set your min 'c' spin up values and your max pwm 'c' value, below that you will see a PWM number represented by 16bits, this will be your 'normal' fan speed. Its a 2 speed setup, one temp for how much you want to fan to run and one temp that runs at max. I set the 'normal' temp to 127 pwm and 25c so it always runs my silent wings 4 high speed at 1800rpm. The max fan speed temp is set to 68 and almost never hits that temp. I have paired this board with an asrock creator rx 7900 xtx and its just perfect. Gaming and machine-learning work perfectly. Gaming performance is great, you really wont miss anything here. This is essentially a 7950X light when running at 100w.

This motherboard with CPU combo is a huge money saver. For the processor specs and the board combo, you would be paying easily $50-150 more. I love that it is ITX but keep in mind, this is just a "larger laptop board". It uses laptop sized DDR5 but it does have 2 NVMe SSD Slots which is cool. The overall heat does kick up there on AAA title games but it does hold it's own. I would minus one star as it doesnt have ARGB or any RGB components, needed to have a USB powered one to get the look I wanted.

Installed without a hitch in a generic Mini-ITX case. Booted up on the first try. Performance on this board is fantastic -- I am using it as a Proxmox (virtualization hypervisor) machine and I can easily run multiple heavy load VMs simultaneously. Very good price for this level of performance. The board looks very sturdy and well-built.

This board handles high-intensity, multi-threaded workloads incredibly well. The 7945HX stays around 50 °C when capped at about 48 W CPU draw, with total system power near 71 W including the power supply. It’s roughly three times more efficient than previous setups I’ve used for similar compute-heavy algorithms. Overall, a very stable and cool-running platform for continuous, optimized processing tasks that benefit from sustained parallel performance.
