Great gift or personal project
Bought this as a gift and was pleased it came completely as advertised. I individual I bought it for painted it and had a lot of fun doing it. Still on display over a year later

Super cute and fun
This was fun and easy to put together. I opted to paint the pieces before constructing the niffler and it turned out great! The accompanying book is cute, however I wish it was hard back.

Really cool and would be 5 stars with one simple change
I got this to display on my Harry Potter shelf. I was super excited. Assembled it all together, it went quite smoothly, not difficult at all. So I’m holding it together set it on my shelf and once I let go it falls apart. The reason is because the wings are too heavy for the couple of layers holding it in so they pivot and push the layers off. It’s hard to explain but essentially you have to glue it together. You could probably use wood glue if you have a way to hold it together while it dries, but luckily I have some super glue from another craft. Make sure you have that before you put it together and you’re golden. There is also directions for painting it but I opted to leave it unpainted. It’s a decent size and looks pretty cool so I think still worth getting. But I’m not sure how they’d miss instructing you to glue if they had actually tried assembling it themselves.

Fun project and great quality
Wife enjoyed painting and putting it together. Wood is great quality and last a long time. Looks great painted or not.

Unique and fun to build!
Fun and easy to put together! My daughter loved the fact it is something unique for her collection. You do have to be careful with the pieces, as she did break a piece while trying to put it together. However, it was easy to fix. At the moment she is leaving it wood and has not painted Hedwig.

I did this on my spare time and it came out pretty nice.

A touch of glue & perfecto!
I bought this for my son. He really enjoyed it & wants the other sets now. He was a little heavy handed at times when popping out the pieces so a few had to be super glued but I'd recommend a dab of super glue here & there anyway to keep it intact.
