This might work well on a shorthaired dog, but I was putting it on an Australian Shepherd and it kept falling off.

This is an impossible product to use. the instructions are terrible, the thing is incredibly difficult to place on the dog, and the belly strap crushes his penis, no matter now you move it. A HORRIBLE excuse for a leg brace. Now I need to send it back, covered in dog hair. But there's no other way to know if it works than to try it on the dog. Good luck getting it on. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. Shouldn't ever be for sale.

I will say the medium part for the leg of a bulldog is perfect but the strap is too small. So I cut a large strap and sewed it on the medium. But the actual splint itself fits so much better then a large. Her measurements show a large but its too long and a medium , the strap is too tight. Love the splint better though. Very sturdy and fiona is more comfy in it

Bought this for my dogs torn ACL. She doesn’t mind wearing it and wags when we put it on, but the belly strap irritates her stomach and side so I can’t leave it on for long. I did put some fleece between the strap and her stomach which helped. I also think I bought it too big, but my dog is a tall Pitbull/Dalmatian mix and I did measure, but she’s not bulky and she’s more lanky so maybe that’s why. Anyways, it works well enough and honestly I don’t have the money for the high end style so this is it and this one seems to be the best of the ones in this price range. I would say unless your have a big chunky thick dog maybe you want to size down, but that’s just my opinion.

This brace is pretty good quality but doesn't work. It twists around the dogs waist and drops down within a few minutes. I tried several ways but nothing works. Also, it seems tight and uncomfortable across the dogs belly.

This is the most pointless brace ever. It’s doesn’t support the knee area at all. It actually doesn’t support anything and is a jumbled mess when it’s on. This will do more harm than good and after 2 steps it slid right off. The instructions are on a 2” x 2” piece of paper. Picture yourself with a magnifying glass in one hand and a tiny piece of paper in the other all while trying to hold an animal and strap a brace on… Save your money and the discomfort of your animal and get a proper brace.

I am reviewing this for two different reasons…because it was absolutely wonderful and just as advertised, but I had to return it. This was recommended to me from a friend, and it was great… Very neat design and it seemed to be doing his job. More importantly, though, my vet told me that with my particular situation this was doing no good and that it might actually hinder my dog, so I returned it used. I must tell you, for some reason I did keep the packaging and what not but the return process was great and there were no questions asked, and I would like to thank the sender for that! Truly appreciated

Very hard to put on. Wouldn’t work for our dog. Might work for a lighter dog. Our dog is a 110 pounds
