After going through two blue and yellow "comb" style cleaners, both of which developed cracks in the main body due to very thin plastic in less than a year, I switched to this wand. It is far more durable. I've had it now for 23 months with no complaints. I just used it yesterday to clean 4 cartridges. No leaks. On/Off button works exactly as it should. It shoots several powerful jets that intersect a few inches from the nozzle to create a powerful combined spray that really gets gunk out from the pleats in pool cartridges. I highly recommend soaking each cartridge in a cleaner (LeisureTime cleaner works best for me) for 20-30 minutes before using this wand to rinse. Just be patient and thorough; spend time to clean and rinse the full length of each individual pleat. This is a MUST. If you don't thoroughly rinse the cartridges you'll have murky (soapy) pool water for days (trust me, I know). And if you don't spend the time to clean the dirt and grime from each individual pleat then you'll be doing this again in a few months (again, I know).

We are very fanatical about cleaning our hot tub. We clean the filters every week and this does a great job! It gets a lot more out of the filter than a regular hose nozzle. I would definitely recommend this! It came well packaged and on time!

The unit has a variable water pressure valve that comes in handy. Quick connect is easy once you figure it out. Overall, it does a good job at cleaning the filters.

This did the job initially but when I removed it from the hose, the plastic tread attachment cracked and broke, rendering it unusable.

The functionality is good and I was happy with it, but just after using it a few times it got broken at the connector with the garden hose. It is very weak at that point. I am not buying again.

Hooked it up to the hose, and started cleaning the filters. After two - three minutes water started leaking around the handle, and then the coupling that holds the head to the handle cracked, and the head came off. The part is really cheap as that hose can barely run a sprinkler.I was toying with replacing it, but now see several similar reviews, and will just return it. Very disappointed, as this was a product I was looking forward to using.
