Seed Needs Perennial Wildflower Seed Mix 30,000 Seeds 2 Ounce Bulk Pack

Fantastic seeds pack, germinate really quickly and the variety and quantity of flowers is impressive. No fillers in the bag just seeds. I'm writing this review six weeks after sowing so it is still early and there are more flowers to come. I ripped up a water hungry lawn about 20 x 20 feet and put 2 packs down. I have a rambling English garden no pesticides or chemicals because its planted exclusively for monarchs. These seeds are perfect for a country style garden. I live in San Diego and for some reason this year we got about six weeks of rain and wet weather which definitely was the difference. By two weeks I saw the first sprouts. The pictures have been taken bi weekly and you can see the amazing amount of coverage. The packs have a variety of flowers which have yet to appear so I hope to be seeing different flowers into the summer months. Additionally because they are perennials in the seeds I should be getting plants reseeding, and this spot being really beautiful in 3 years. And did I say they smell amazing! Important tip: NEVER LET THEM DRY OUT DURING GERMINATION PLANT EARLY SPRING BEGORE THE RAINS BEGIN. BEST SEED PACK ON THE MARKET FOR SAN DIEGO LIKE CLIMATES.

I'm not sure where this company gets their seeds from, but they have contamination issues. I prepared a 3 ft by 50ft raised bed for these and planted two packs of seeds just after the last frost. The soil was turned beforehand, and the previous year no weeds other than some crabgrass and clover had been present in the bed. What I now have is a 3ft by 50ft bed full of hundreds or more goldenrod plants. A very few of other varieties appear to be mixed in, but it's 95% goldenrod, which is specifically not a variety listed on the package. This is not a common weed near me and I haven't had an issue with it in my yard in the seven years I've lived here. For so many of them to suddenly sprout in a bed I just turned and replanted, they must've been in the wildflower seed packs. As both my wife and I are allergic, I'll need to spray all of them with herbicide and plow them under. Very disappointed the seeds were not as advertised.

I am giving this product a four for two reasons. First, at least one of the flower seeds is considered "invasive"in the southeast and two, some flowers won't really bloom for another season. Otherwise this is another good product from this company. The milkweed I bought is looking good and it seems like every week there is a new bunch of flowers popping up from this mix. I will buy more of this and vendors other products.

These seeds have produced some great flowers after only 3 months I planted these just 7 days ago. I did prepare the soil correctly and put the seeds in with some dry sand and used the hand broadcast method to distribute. I did buy 4 different packages of seeds because I have a large area to turn into a wild flower bed. It has been in the 80's each day and mostly in the 60's since I threw out the seeds. I have been watering these seeds 4 times a day to keep them moist. They are not in 100% sun, I would say only 4 hours of sun a day on the beds because of trees. You can see the seeds sprouting out after only a week, so far I am very happy. I use an automatic watering device hooked up to my faucet so I don't have to stand there and keep them watered.

Waste of $$...nothing grew after I followed directions...not one! I tried to contact manufacturer,,,FORGET IT!! they ignored the three emails I sent and the form I filled out...stay away!!UPDATE: THEY REFUNDED MY PURCHASE..but with a not so nice email attached....I won't be purchasing anything else from them.

I have purchased these seed packets multiple times. Each time, I get lots of flowers, both the 1st year as well as in succeeding years. They are very easy to use too! Although there are instructions on how to plant them (which I recommend to obtain the best results), I actually just sprinkle them all around, and I still get lots of blooms. Definitely worth the money! Give these seeds a try...i think you will be pleased with the results. I certainly am! Bonus: They actually donate part of the proceeds to sponser children (80 each month, as of April 2020) through Child Fund and Compassion International...so your purchase of these seeds actually helps others! So, not only will you get a great product, but you will also be helping others as well...a win\win for all involved!
