This stuff works!! I've done kids face painting on and off for years, and I always try and splurge on water-activated paints because of the longevity, cleanliness, and vibrancy. I'll admit I wasn't optimistic about this set, but I was very pleasantly surprised! My baby-cousins summer party was the perfect trial-by-fire since there were kids of all ages with a full range of skintones, and this paint showed up fairly vibrantly on them all! I did have to start with the white as a base for some colors to really pop, but since it's the biggest color in the set, I had no issues. Actually kind of shocked at how well it went, and I didn't see any more fading or transfer than I have with my ben nye color sets.

Shows up well on your skin, some colors you have to do like a layer of the paint, and with some of the darker colors it will stain your skin but other than that it’s a great purchase

Took some time to figure out how to layer color without wiping off other colors, but kept working with it and within my first 30 minutes we had cute results with shading. I wish the shading showed up more in the photos, but it had a smooth finish, and I love that it isn’t greasy. This will last for a long time. I ended up doing a vampire face for a neighbor kid in about 5 min (not shown), and had already learned to do the blood and details better, so this is totally doable.

This is my first time trying a water-based product, especially face/body paint. I knew it was off Amazon so it wouldn't be professional grade, but it's pretty damn good! I swatched each color on my arm above. the most pigmented (meaning the least dips used for that color) are the red, bright orange, grey, pink, UV pink, teal, blue, and UV green. the others are also very pigmented but it took more swatches/layering to get the color shown. However its still great!! I set them with setting powder and some transferring was still there-- a setting spray might help that. Rubbing against the colors will result in transfer, but touching should not. I'll absolutely be using these in the future :-)
