(Builder installed this kingshield dat02a) **Q: Is this a mechanical bell ring?** A: The mechanism is a metal rod running through a coil. The ends of the rod hit metal bars that resonate as the current is switched on and then off. There is no electronic circuitry. I guess that means that the ring is mechanical. **Q: What voltage is this?** A: No batteries on mine. But if there is an option it should be: "Work with 4 batteries 1.5V AA = 6V" **Q: will this work with a ring video doorbell?** A: you need at least 10 Vac to work with Nest.
