Review: More effective for me - I have tried all of the expensive nasal sprays and this galpharm version is an excellent good value alternative, In fact the only slight problem I have is actually administering it, you have to tilt your head to squeeze the bottle and as the liquid reduces in quantity it can be hard to get any out as opposed to the pump action bottles of the well known brands, this is far outweighed by the better effectiveness of the galpharm version and its price.

**Q: Does this still contain thiomersal/mercury?**
A: The product does contain THIOMERSAL as stated in the information but no mention of mercury.
I have been using this nasal spray for years or more and have not found a better one.

**Q: Are these as good as sudafed?**
A: I bought these and they do the job I bought them for ,they are cheaper than sudafed ,so why would you want to by them, when these do the same and are cheaper???

**Q: Is this the same as afrin in the USA**
A: Essentially yes, the active ingredient is the same in both.

**Q: Is as good as becanase ???**
A: Beconase is an anti-inflammatory nasal spray for Hay Fever relief. It doesn’t have active decongestant properties. Galpharm is an active decongestant - very good at what it does (unblocking stuffed noses), but without the anti-inflammatory relief for Hay Fever.
