We ended up buying a separate baker’s rack to house this and our Ninja Slushi machine. The included 2-in-1 pints, lids, paddle, and swirl press feel sturdy and are dishwasher safe, which helps with usability and cleanup. Using the machine is not trivial at first. There is a learning curve. The process starts by preparing your recipe directly in the clear pint containers. The most important detail is making sure the containers freeze completely level. I've been using the Ninja CREAMi Scoop & Swirl Ice Cream Maker almost every day, and it's been one of the best kitchen purchases I've made. I primarily use it to make protein ice cream, and the results are much better than I expected. The texture comes out smooth and creamy, making it easy to stick to nutrition goals without feeling like you're sacrificing dessert. Once your mixture is frozen, it only takes about 5 minutes to spin and turn it into ice cream, which is very convenient. If you plan to use this machine frequently, I highly recommend buying extra pint containers so you can keep multiple flavors ready to go. I chose the Scoop & Swirl model instead of the regular CREAMi because I knew I'd be using it daily, and that has definitely been the case. That said, I don't utilize the swirl function nearly as much as I thought I would. It's a nice feature to have, but for me, the regular ice cream functionality is what gets used the most.
