The robe is not heavy, it is a quality material that is both flirty and functional (keeps me warm). I purchased a M, which is a little roomy, so a S would have been spot on. Obviously I ordered the orange robe and as you can see it is much more vibrant than the photo they provide, which for me was a plus!
