Hello, I'm Johnny Cash

If you're a fan of Johnny Cash or has a child who's a fan this is a great book. It's well written about his early days and career. The illustrations are great. I purchased for my 5 year old nephew who is a Johnny Cash fan but I'm hanging onto it for a bit longer because it's not really written to be read by 5 year olds. Although if a parent was reading it to their child it might be okay.

Absolutely loved the artwork inside and playing the song title heading in each page. It’s a beautiful tribute to a great artist! Bought it for my 5 year old and he loves taking time on each page

My 9 year old needed a book on Johnny Cash for a book report. This was a great book for his reading level. Good information in a way a child can enjoy and remember.

This is a cool kids biography of the Man in Black. My little guy is obsessed and he was very excited for this book. It is geared towards older children and there is quite a bit of narrative. I ended up reading the book myself and then paraphrasing for my little one. He was quite content.

Bought this as a gift for a friend who's a Johnny Cash fan, based on the 5 star reviews on the US site. I wish I hadn't bothered.It's like a kid's book - the pictures are not very sophisticated and the text aims at a very low level. Fortunately I was able to return it for a refund. Don't bother buying it unless you collect absolutely anything Johnny Cash related.
